All eight Dragons grouped into a circle. Aqua began, "Welcome
everyone! Before we begin our meeting, I would like to make a few
introductions. Directly on my right are Blaze and Frost, twin brothers
who are joining the Dragon Resistance. They are fire and ice dragons."
Now looking directly at the twins, "Blaze and Frost I would like to
introduce you to the rest of the resistace." Going around the circle
from left to right, Aqua introduced the rest of the Dragons. "This is
Willow a wood dragon, Luma a lighting dragon, Quake an earth dragon,
and Silver a metal dragon."
Twister then took it from there, "Good! Now that introductions are
done, we can get down to business. We all know that King Mordred
enslaved our land and our kin, but Aqua and I have found evidence that
suggests that he has had help from two of the Elder Dragons."
"What!?" All of the other dragons yelled.
"Those traitors!" Quake growled.
Twister yelled, "Clam down everyone, There is more!" She then
continued, "Now, Aqua and I have tried flying directly to his kingdom,
but there is a powerful barrier. This particular barrier only allows
whoever the caster wants to be let in, and the only two Elder Dragons
who knew this barrier are Luster and Shade."
Aqua continued, "Yes, but even those two could not keep a spell of
this magnitude up for very long. We, however, have discovered two
outside sources of magic that are powering the barrier. We are not
sure what they are, but we do know the locations. One is on Ignis Ile
and the other is in Mystic Forest."
Twister added, "Our plan is to split up into two groups, go to those
locations, and destroy whatever Luster and Shade put there as the
source. Blaze, Quake, and Silver, you three are in my group. We will
be heading to Ignis Ile. Frost, Luma, and Willow, you three will be
traveling with Aqua to Mystic Forest. Any questions?"
Blaze spoke up, "Yeah, just one. Why are you splitting Frost and I up.
I want to be with him so that I can watch his back."
Frost added, "Yeah, we're twins, you can't just split us up!"
Aqua replied, "One of the reasons we are splitting you up is because
your twins." The both spoke in shock, "What?!" Aqua continued, "In
this game, twins have a very powerful and magical bond. The team speak
feature has a limit on distance, but one of the benefits of a twin
bond is that it enhances team speak. Splitting you two means that each
group will be able to communicate with each other through both of you.
The other reason is Ignis Ile. Ignis Ile is a desert island with a
giant mountainside, made primarily of iron, right in the middle. Plus,
the tallest peak on the island is an active volcano that constantly
spews large towers of liquid iron. Blaze's power, along with Quake's
and Silver's power, is enhanced, but Frost's power would be terribly
weakened."
With that, Blaze and Frost hugged each other goodbye as the Dragon
Rebellion split off into their groups.
Later that evening, two dragons flew into the cave that the rebellion
had met at. The first was a bright white dragon. This dragon had a
silver chest with six magnificent golden wings.
The second dragon was a black dragon. This dragon also had a silver
chest and six wings, but its wings were dark purple. "Luster dear,
would you be so kind as to shed some light on what those hatchings are
up to."
The white dragon, Luster, replied, "Of course darling." Luster then
folded her wings and closed her eyes. She was using her power over
light to glimpse at the recent past. "Shade my love, it would seem
that they are planning on destroying the sources of magic for our
precious barrier. They have split up into two groups and are flying in
those directions now."
The black dragon, Shade, replied, "Oh my! We can't have that now can
we. I will take teleport to Ignis Ile and surprise them. I'll leave
the others for you my dear."
Shade then began summoning the shadows in the cave to his body. He
then vanished into the shadows. Luster, however, began absorbing the
light in the cave. She vanished in a flash of bright light...
