You follow her in and ask her if there is anything you can do to become a human again.
"Why yes there is, but it's not worth it in my opinion." She responds.
"Well what is it?" You ask.
"Well since you were a male when you were human you have to change into a female and mate. At which point it's a 50/50 chance of getting pregnant or not. If you start expecting then your change is permanent, including the female part. On the off chance that you don't get pregnant then you transform back into a normal human male once again and are dumped on the edge of the forest with little memory of what happened other than what I described as a strong negative memory of the place that would be given to you, but if you come back you have take the 50/50 chance again."
"Wow, this is a pretty messed up place," You say in a meek voice.
"I know, the only reason I remember it is that the wizard who runs this place implants the memory to anyone interested in the idea. From what I got from him that's pretty much the only way to get changed back. I never asked him why though." She says.
"So did you try it?"
"The 50/50 chance? No. Firstly, I never really liked the human world to begin with. And the alternative for me is becoming a male squirrel which doesn't really interest me in the slightest. Its a lose/lose for me so why try you know?"
"Hm..." you ponder ,"If I decided to do it, the 50/50 thing that is, would you be able to take me to the wizard?"
At the question she goes kind of quiet, turning away and walking to the far corner of the den. Looking back she says," I thought you liked me, we just had sex and you have the chance at ever lasting life in this forest of making love and adventuring. You'd really pass that up?"
You're at a bit of a loss for words. You decide to think it over outside. Eventually you come to the conclusion that you will...
