Having seen what the pink and blue lights do, and understanding how the brightness effects the intensity of the changes, you wonder what would happen if you were to shine pink light on a female target, or blue light on a male target. If the light were bright you assume the obvious would happen, that the target would become super masculine or super feminine, perhaps an idealized man or woman, but what if you were to put the light to its very lowest setting? Would it work to decrease the masculine or feminine attributes of the target without actually changing the target's gender?
With a small smile, you decide to try it out and set the flashlight to its very lowest blue setting. The light is so dim it is hardly noticeable, which you decide is perfect.
"So, what's up with you?" You decide to keep Gene distracted with conversation so that he will be even less likely to notice the you shining the light on him, as dim as it is.
"Not much," he shrugs as you shine the light on his feet, "Just going shopping to kill some time. You know how boring the weekends can be around here this time of year."
Perhaps his feet have gotten a bit smaller and maybe the style of his sneakers has changed slightly, but you cannot really tell. Still, you are certain that something is happening, so you move the light a little higher, slowly bringing it up his legs.
"Yeah, same here, I'm just hanging around being bored," which was true until a moment ago, now you have the feeling that you will be far less bored. The changes to Gene's legs and pants are visible, his pants become tighter fitting, taking on a more gender neutral style. With the new, tight fit of his pants, you can also see that his legs are less muscular looking.
Laughing at this, Gene shakes his head, "Well, maybe we can be bored together. Want to go to the arcade or something?"
"Sure, why not?" You bring the light up to his chest and arms as you say this and watch as his shoulders narrow and the muscles of his arms shrink away. The hair on his arms also vanishes and his shirt changes, just as his pants did, again becoming more tight fitting and gender neutral in appearance and color, changing from gray to red.
The last bit of the change will be the hardest, shining it on his face without him noticing. You quickly flick the light upwards and nearly let out a sigh of relief when he fails to notice the dim light.
His Adam's apple disappears and his face loses all of its masculine angularity, softening and becoming slightly rounder as his eyelashes lengthen and thicken. His lips fill out as well, and the slight shadow of stubble on his lip and chin fade away into nothing. Lastly, his hair grows slightly longer. When the changes are done Gene is perfectly androgynous.
"Alright, let's go then," he turns his back and starts walking towards the arcade, completely missing your look of surprise at the sound of his voice, soft and neutral, giving no hint of his gender.
Watching him walk you see that even the way he moves is neutral.
All in all the results are very interesting.
But he is your friend, so you do not wish to leave him looking totally neutral. Flicking the flashlight to its pink setting you crank it up to its maximum brightness and shine it on the back of his head.
Instantly his hair lightens to blond and flows down his back in long, silky tresses, stopping when it reaches waist length.
Amazed, you turn off the light just in time.
Gene turns to face you, playfully tossing back his head to make his long, gorgeous hair flow and fall down his back in a most seductive way. Between his hair and body he looks very much like a very flat chested woman with unfortunately narrow hips, "So, yeah, you can hang out in the arcade while I get my hair done, then we can do something together."
That said he walks into the beauty parlor next to the arcade, leaving you to your own devices.
