The foul water that had been sprayed on him had some how paralyzed his movements. He could not run. His body only wiggled as he tried to move away from the gargoyle. He watched helplessly as the water started to wrap around his body, like it was some kind of living gel. To his horror, his cloths slipped haplessly off his body. He was now standing in front of the gargoyle, naked as the day he was born. His tiny muscles showing off what little time he took out to exercise.
"What? What's going on? What's happening to me?" Johnny asked hysterically. He couldn't move his lower body. Whatever movement he had in them was completely gone by now. The water at his feat had turned to stone, fusing with his skin, making them one.
The gargoyle laughed at the boy. "Shut up kid. You can scream all you want, but there's nothing to stop what's bound to happen. That's what you get for calling me ugly."
"No! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it. I take it all back. Please, no!" Johnny had lost all movement in his arms and torso now. The water was turning to stone, fusing with his body. The more he struggled, the faster his transformation came. It crawled up faster. Half of his face was stuck in a frightened, screaming expression as he realized his head was now turning to stone.
"No. Please. Please stop it. Don't No. No. Noooo-Mhnm. Mhhf."
Johnny's mouth was stuck, locked in an open expression. By now, most of his body was a grey, marble-like texture. Only a tuff of golden blond hair and a corner of his face remained unchanged. His single eye moved around back and forth as the petrification soon covered the rest of his face. His hair. And then Johnny became silent.
Deep in his subconscious, Johnny could hear the nature around him. He heard vibrations in the ground, coming towards him.
"Hey, I could have sworn I heard something coming from over here." a voice said. Johnny recognize the voice. It was Mike. Mike and Sei, they would rescue him. Surely they would right?
