"In-Game Connections?" Stephanie asked to herself as she hurried in the direction of the Fourth Block, the 'Personal District'. She dodged between other pedestrians, and hopped a bench to end far enough around the circle from First Block to be on the complete opposite wing of the building in less than ten minutes. She looked up the Four Block and took it all in.
Once there, she was greeted by the same kind of isle she had left earlier, except there seemed to be a whole lot more people down this path. She shrugged to herself, not much caring for the crowds, but otherwise taking them all in. She placed one modified police boot forward on the ground one at a time as she slowly stepped up the isles in the direction of 'In-Game Connections'.
Magical Items seemed to take up an entire wall of the Block, everything from Costumes, Coins, Potions, Balloons, Sexual Objects, and more seemed to be the variety of shops she saw along her right side. A small sign said, "For more devious items, check The Ointment Store in Black Market District, 2612," which would have put it right below the contact's shop she had been given back at the Hospital.
On the left side, first floor, there was what looked to be a Supermarket. "Shop Smart, Shop S-Mart," it said over the front banner for 'S-Mart'. Just above it, she could make out what looked to be a lot of shops dealing with cybernetic enhancements, and she couldn't really see the third floor.
But the two shops she was most looking for were at the end of the Block, just barely in front of the doors leading back outside. One was the fabled "In-Game Connections" that she had been searching for, but the one opposite it was "Universal Styles" a three-story shop that seemed to have within it each and every type of clothing… and since all clothing seemed to auto-size to each person's build, that really reduced the need for duplicate items.
Stephanie approached the store of "In-Game Connections" and saw a little warning sign posted on the front of the door. She looked around the rest of the Block and wondered if she might want to try someplace else first.
