Lisa was ready for the dinner party in forty-five minutes which was a record for her. Usually with these she took an hour and a half to get ready. Her hair was what usually took the longest being done up in elaborate styles. Tonight though she didn't need to do that. Tonight was a private dinner and not a public one though there would be no media though she still had to look good. She looked at herself in the mirror. She had decided on a pearl white satin floor length dress with a gold flower outline pattern. There was a sash with the dress that she had tied into a nice bow in back. She had her pearl and gold bead necklace on and her gold and pearl earrings. She was wearing white knee high nylons and she was wearing white high heels with five inch heels. She didn't like high heels since they made running difficult.
Sighing she headed to the dining hall. She ran through the list of who would be there tonight while she did so she wouldn't forget anyone; Mayor David McCornish and his wife Daniella, Jeff Probst, Augustus Fren and his wife Julia, Harold Ward and his wife Cynthia and their son Patrick, and Marcia Hetchun. Arriving in the dining hall she saw that everyone else was there. Her eyes fixed on Patrick wearing a baby blue tux and she went up to him. They were both seventeen and it seemed like everyone expected them to end up together. She did find him attractive but she wasn't sure how he felt about her. There were some awkward moments at times when she was about to tell him that she found him attractive and something would happen.
Patrick smiled as he spotted her and said "Hi Lisa."
She smiled back but waited until she was a little closer before saying "Hi Patrick."
After a moment of silence they both said at the same time "I need to tell you something."
They both laughed and Patrick said "You first."
She blushed and looked down. After a few seconds she looked back up smiling and said "Patrick... I find you very attractive."
Patrick let out a long sigh and said "I'm glad because I find you very attractive too. I would like to ask you out on a date."
She giggled and blushed again as she said "I would like that. Nothing fancy though."
"Nothing fancy" Patrick agreed smiling.
It was then that a loud bang could be heard and in came about two dozen men in wolf masks came in. She recognized them as Shadowwolf's henchmen. They had their guns pointed at everyone. In just a few seconds Shadowwolf herself came in. She looked like a massive bipedal wolf. She stood about seven foot one, her muscles could be seen under her black fur. She had wicked looking claws at the end of her hands and yellow eyes with slitted pupils above her muzzle filled with razor sharp teeth. Even though her eyes had a feral look she was more intelligent than most humans. When she spoke her voice was feminine but guttural so it could be mistaken for a masculine voice. Adding to that she didn't have any visible breasts. When one looked upon her one couldn't help but think the term werewolf.
"What is she doing here?" Patrick asked in a whispered tone.
"I don't know" Lisa replied in that same tone. "I hope Power Play will be here soon since you know it can't be good."
Shadowwolf's eyes fixed on Patrick and Lisa. Gesturing to a few of her henchmen she said "Take those two teens. They will make excellent bait for Power Play and Femsha. Maybe we'll get Black Rose too. If they don't show they'll make a good meal for me." She let out a howling laugh holding her stomach and throwing her head back.
The henchmen moved the others back as they moved toward Patrick and Lisa. There were cries of "Patrick!" and "Lisa!" from their mothers. The henchmen grabbed them and marched them out of the house into Shadowwolf's airship. They were put into what looked like a cabin and the door was closed. There was a slight vibration in the floor and they knew they were in the air now.
Lisa looked at Patrick with a questioning look on her face and asked "What do we do now?"
