"Well that's not right and it's kind of twisted," Lisa thought as she sits and looks at the computer screen before her.
Somewhere in house she can hear Alexis making popcorn, but Lisa isn't worried because she knows that it's going to be a few minutes before her friend returns. Clicking a few more buttons, Lisa began to go through several menus of the Chronivac, attempting to learn as much as she can.
It was about three minutes ago when Alexis had asked her what she wanted to drink and telling her friend, "Any soda is good," Lisa turned to return to Alexis's sister's room, only to stop as she realised that her friend had left her computer on. Curious, wondering what sort of games and programmes Alexis was into, Lisa had entered the room and sitting before the computer, she began to search.
A minute later she discovered the Chronivac program and what it could do.
"That really isn't right," Lisa comments again, this time reading her own file a second time.
Before, she had read first Alexis's and then her own file. And if what the program said it could do was true, then about five minutes ago Alexis had been a boy named Alex and she, Lisa, had been Alex's mother.
Pulling up Alexis's file, Lisa comments, "Well lets see if we can even a few things out," and then begins to type.
In Alexis's file, she shifts the permanent feature on, making Alexis a girl through and through and then toggles the awareness off, making sure her friend cannot remember a thing about her previous life as a male.
Smiling, thinking that Alex, or Alexis as she now is, is getting what she deserved, Lisa then alters Alexis's monthly so that it was coming soon and that it would be heavy. "You want to make yourself a girl. Well, Alex, now you're going to learn what it means to be a girl. Maybe, just maybe, I'll turn you back one day. Or I may even turn you into a three year old girl if I think it's appropriate," Lisa thought as she saves the new information.

In the kitchen, Alexis pauses as she searches the fridge for a soda for Lisa, grabs a bottle of water without thinking about it and tries to remember something that was just at the tip of her consciousness.
"Almost like a dream I had, but can't remember," Alexis thinks to herself as she grabs a can of soda.
Shrugging, she sets both of the drinks down on the counter and turns her attention back to the microwave and the bag of popcorn popping inside. As the counter shifts to two minutes, Alexis attempts to remember what she has forgotten, but instead focuses on the fact that her monthly is due and that she needs tampons again.

In the bedroom, Lisa shifts things about on her profile. First thing she changes is that she is not Alexis's and her sister's mother and instead they are currently being raised by a wealthy aunt.
Next she shifts things with her life so that she is living with a wealthy great-aunt and that currently she is a high school student who will graduate in the next two years...going on to college in another two years and graduating with a master's of fine arts.
Here and there she tinkers with her life, glad that she has a chance to begin again, but always making everything in her new life turn out in the best light possible.
After she is finishes, Lisa pulls up Alexis's file and arranges it so that she too will have a happy life and then saving the file, Lisa sets up Alexis's sister with a happy life. Pausing, Lisa listens as a microwave beeps and she knows that Alexis will be returning any moment.
Working quickly, Lisa slips the Chronivac program into her backpack, not even questioning that it just appeared about five seconds ago, and then saving all the files with the new changes, Lisa then begins to run a delete programme.
The computer dings as Alexis can be heard somewhere down the hall and working quickly, Lisa closes all the windows and instead pulls up the start menu. Browsing though the games, she waits with baited breath for Alexis to finish her trip back to her sister's room. Waiting, so that she, Lisa, can rejoin her friend and hope there aren't any questions about where she had been.
