Tyler yelped in pain, something slimy touched his face and it burned terribly. He pulled back his hands and screamed. His eye was half swollen shut from where the purple tendrils hanging from his wrist at touched them. His knees became all rubbery and he leaned against the shower wall for support. Ultimately, he and his team mates slid down the walls as their bones disintegrated.
He didn't understand what was happening, but he knew who was responsible. It had to be Roger. Tyler and some of his crew had emptied chlorine containers from the pool into the tank Roger had loaded on the back of his pickup. Slimy jelly fish were in the tanks, and Tyler gleefully acknowledged destroying the geek's science fair project. He stared and the purple tendrils distending from his own swollen and bloated boneless body, and he finally understood. He and his team mates were replacing the jellyfish they had killed. As his brain became simpler, Tyler just wanted badly to sting Roger for doing this to him.
Roger appeared wearing rubber waders and wearing long sleeved rubber gloves. He was scooping the jellified swim team members into a big plastic bucket. This might be Tyler's only chance. He inflated his gas buoy recalling enough physics to know that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Roger's hand descended toward him.
