Tricia was crusing down one of the side streets she had always used as a shortcut to get to Sam's when she she saw the worst possible sight. Flashing blue lights... Tricia quickly pulled to the side of the road and began to panic.
"License and registration please." came a familiar voice from outside her window. When she looked up she realized who the cop was. It was her godfather and an old family friend that had been in the war with her dad.
"Sorry Mr. Edwards, I forgot my purse back at the house..." she said drooping her ears and trying to look as remorseful as possible.
"Look Tricia." he said very matter-of-factly "You know I can't resist the ol' bambi-eyes, but the law is the law."
"I'm really really sorry. I was just in a big hurry to get to Sam's house." she began to explain.
"So you figured you would hijack your dad's car? C'mon Trish, not only is it dangerous for you, but it's dangerous for everyone else on the road. You know that you haven't been allowed to drive since your hooves grew in last year. You're developing into a very pretty heifer, but puberty has its drawbacks too."
"But... but..."
"No buts about it young lady. I won't write you up for this one, that's the least I can do for the daughter of an old war buddy. But I'm going to have to ask you to get out of the car. Look, I'll call up my partner and she can drive it back to your place, but unless you want a ride back home you'll have to walk the rest of the way to the Cartwright's."
Tricia couldn't believe what was happening. She wasn't allowed to drive anymore? Unable to think of anything else to do she awkwardly stepped out of the car.
"There you go honey. And don't worry, those are fine looking hooves. Changes are just a part of every girl's life as she becomes a woman."
"You have no idea..." was all Tricia could think to herself.
"I'll wait here with the car. You go ahead and have fun with Sam." he said, breaking into a warm smile and rustling her hair. "And don't worry, I won't tell a word to your parents."
"Yeah, ok... Thanks Mr. Edwards." was all she could stammer still bewildered by the situation.
As she walked down the road she tried to wrap her head around what just happened. Apparently she was no longer allowed to drive. But at least he hadn't said anything about her being stark naked or having four arms and a tail. Not to mention the breasts lining her torso. Plus those "breasts lining her torso" were beginning to get uncomfortable as they swayed with every step. And what had he said about puberty?
But she couldn't waste her time thinking about all that right now. She had to get to Sam's before it was too late! Luckily she had remembered to grab the remote on her way out of the car. But now not being able to drive meant it would take that much longer to get to Sam's! Trying not to think about the time she re-adjusted her breasts and hurried off.
