Feeling quite miserable at first, the girls' attentions soon turned to their trip to Rhode Island. Packing was in order, and they were soon in Lisa's room trying to cram all that they could into as little space as possible, with Andy's help, of course.
"This means that in the morning I won't get to do your backs," Andy joked.
"Speaking of which, I'd like to try my best to hide the combs amongst our other, more normal possessions," Lisa replied.
Carol was busy rushing in and out of the room, always thinking of something new to ask the girls if they were brining. "Did you remember fresh underwear?" Of course. "Don't forget a jacket in case it gets cold." No duh. "I've put your toothbrush and toothpaste into a ziplock on the counter." Thanks.
Finally, bags packed and ready, the girls - Andy included - piled into the car, challenging each other to find the most out-of-state liscense plates.
