"Wow, How did we split up?" Max glanced down at Luke.
Luke sat up. "I don't know, its almost like our fusing powers have
minds of their own."
Max started rubbing his chin as he thought about it. "You know, I
don't think it is exactly that. In that Psychology course I'm taking,
the teacher once talked about this guy named Freud. This guy believed
that our true desires are in the subconscious. I think that maybe we
couldn't split before because our true desire was to stay together
until we worked things out. Now that we solved it, our powers split us
up."
"Hmmmm...that actually makes since." Luke slowly began to stand up. He
was still in pain from the beating he took, plus the fall. "Well not
that we have that off our chests, do you...want to give...being stuck
with me...another try?"
Max grew a wide grin. "Of course Luke! I've actually had the most fun
being stuck with you, even with the problems we've had. But, please
don't tell Mark or my dad that."
Luke laughed. "Don't worry man. This will be our little secret.
So...how do you want to be joined this time?"
