"Did you put it all in there?" Mary asked Cat.
"No. Only half of it. Just listening to you two now, I realised already that I don't like the bitch. Could be fun to embarrass her a bit in the process..."
Mary just stared at Cat for a couple of seconds before that evil smirk reappeared on her face.
"My, my! Aren't we just fitting the role of sadistic sidekick nicely!" Mary teased. "I like your way of thinking Pet."
Still smiling, though now with more warmth, Mary took the tray of drinks from Cat and turned to head back to the loungeroom.
"Forgetting something?" Cat asked.
Mary stopped and turned, a confused look now adorning her face.
"Give that bitch the drink with the green straw" Cat almost laughed as she spoke, "wouldn't want you or me to become the focus of tonights entertainment now would we?"
As the comment sank in, Mary realised she hadn't even thought about that. Three drinks on the tray, all the same, well except for the slight difference in the one with the green straw...
Marys smile returned "Thank you my pet"
Cat beamed, glad to please her soon to be mistress. As she followed
Mary back to the lounge room, Mary was adressing Jess,
"Here we go! Root beers all round! Jess, this is my good friend Cat, Cat, meet Jess"
"Hi Jess, pleased to meet you!" Cat extended her hand for Jess to shake.
"Are you coming onto me??" Cried the homophobic Jess.
"Well I was just gonna shake your hand, but I guess I won't bother" The last bit said under her breath.
"Anyway!" Mary interupted "Heres your root beer Jess" handing her the glass with the green straw.
As Jess took a long pull on the straw, Mar and Cat snuck a sideways glance. Mary could pick the menacing look on Cats face as if to say
'Oh, she SOOOO is a bitch!'
Mary just grinned.
After a lengthy pull on her straw, Jess finally took a breath.
"Phew! Thats some mighty fine root beer! And its about time too, I was absolutly DYING of thirst out here!"
Mary and Cat stood stunned looking at Jess's empty glass.
"What did you do? Inhale it?" Cat asked sarcasticly.
Ignoring Cat completly Jess went on with her tirade "Get me another one will you Mary. And while your there you might want to look into the popcorn situation for me? Theres a dear!"
"Of course Jess! No problem" Mary replied taking the glass from Jess and heading to the kitchen.
