Owen lay motionless listening to his son lightly snoring in his ear. He was still in shock at their joined body, and had no clue what his next action should be. Should we try pulling themselves apart? Ya, that sounded best. Owen placed his hand gently on Kyle's half of their chest and tried to push away, but stopped as soon as he felt a jab of pain.
Pulling them apart was a no go. Maybe the eagle? He reach for the eagle with his hand and searched for a line or some sign of where they had been split, but couldn't find anything. With two options down, Owen began to roll off the couch and was going to look at the box when he felt Kyle's face press against his.
'Fuck' Owen thought as he eased them over on to their back again. 'Should I just wake him up? Whats the worst thing that could happen at this point? He freaks out and does what... tries to run away? What if he knows about this though... Maybe he can undo this!'
Owen propped himself up on his elbow so he was leaning to Kyle, "Hey! Kyle buddy... wake up! It's your dad!"
"Ug..." Kyle replied sleepily "I'm trying to sleep, give me five more minutes..."
"Not on your life! Wake up!" Owen shook Kyle awake.
"Ok ok... I'm awake..." Kyle rubbed his eyes and saw his dad laying right beside him. Kyle was startled and pulled away without even noticing they were now sharing a body. "Dad, what the fuck are you doing?! Why are you laying with me?!"
"I tried this fucking thing on! That's why!" Owen showed Kyle the newly formed medallion around their necks.
"Hey! That's Dave's birthday present I bought... What did you do to it? And why is it back together?!" Kyle looked over at the table then glared at his dad, "Have you been going through my stuff again?!"
"Kyle! This is not the time for that!" Owen grabbed his sons arm. "Are you telling me you didn't know what this thing did?" Kyle shook his head and was puzzled by what his dad had asked. Owen sighed and uncovered their body so Kyle could see. "Well, I threw the other half on, and it did this..."
"What the fuck?!" Kyle screamed and tired to jump up, but couldn't with his father attached to his side. He desperately tried to push his dad away with no luck. "What... How... We're... We're..."
"Fused together?" Owen finished for Kyle, "Ya... And I was hoping you would know how to fix it. But you don't so that's just great..."
