Jeannie squeezed both of their noses. HONK! HONK! "Now we need to get you both suited up," she said sweetly. "For those faces Grandma and I designed, we figured a classic style would go best."
Her grandmother reached into a nearby cabinet a pulled out a bundled up piece of cloth. "Step into this, miss," she said. Sally did, and the old woman pulled it up her legs and torso, anf finally buttoning it up in the back at Sally's neck. It was a baggy one piece clown suit, red on one side white on the other, with ruffles at the wrists and ankles and red pom poms that went down the middle of her torso. Jeannie helped Sally into a pair of dainty white cloths and yellow-saddled red clown shoes, then clasped a red bordered ruffle collar around her neck.
Sally looked at her new reflection, and giggled at how silly she looked. "I love it!"
"Now for you, young sir," Jeannie's grandmother took out a different, larger suit that she helped Dan into. It had an yellow torso, green legs and sleeves, with orange pom poms down the middle. Jeannie slipped Dan's huge feet into a pair of ridicuously long green and white high-tops, then clipped a green bordered ruffled collar on his neck.
They looked at each other, and their reflections in the mirror. They both looked sooo funny and silly...
They thanked the two women, walked out to the store lobby, and paid the owner. The new clown couple then walked outside....
