As soon as Matt and Rex laid down on Rex's bed, Rex dozed off into a deep sleep. In fact, he started snoring lightly. Matt turned in head as they were just lying on their back. Matt then reached over with his hand, and gently turned Rex's head the other way. Finally, Rex's snoring stopped, and it had become quiet enough for Matt. Luckily, after about ten minutes, he was able to doze off as well.
Occasionally Rex would move his legs during the night, and since they were Matt's legs as well, Matt would feel the motion. He would wake up for a brief moment, before dozing off again. Thankfully, this only happened two times during the night.
Rex's radio alarm went off around 7Am that morning, and both boys woek up at the same time. Rex raised up his head and slowly tried to get out of bed, but Matt was still holding his eyes closed.
"Come on, dude! Wake up!" Rex whispered. "Time to get out of bed!"
As Rex tried to get up, Matt's head dangled from side by side, since he was still very sleepy.
Rex managed to control the legs and arms, and walk their body over to the bathroom. He turned on the faucet and splashed some water on his face, waking him up completely. Then, he allowed some water to pour over his hands, before he splashed the water over Matt's face as well.
"Whoa!" Matt gasped, as he got a rude awakening from Rex. "Don't do that!"
Rex turned them around and dried off his face from the towel, hanging from the towel rack on the bathroom wall.
"Well, I couldn't do anything! You were still asleep!" rex grumbled.
"Give me that towel!" Matt shouted, as he pulled the towel towards his face to he could dry it off quickly.
"Well, at least you're awake now!" Rex grinned.
"I should punch you in the stomach for that!" Matt grumbled.
"It'll hurt! Better be ready! You'll only end up punching yourself!" Rex laughed. "We're conjoined, remember?"
"Alright! You win! Let's eat or else we're gonna be late for class! Both of us!" Matt stated.
"Okay! Let me use the legs today, while you use the arms, alright?" Rex suggested.
"Fine! I'm just going along for the ride, I guess..." Matt sighed. "Now, come on! Move! I'm starving!"
Rex walked both of them to the kitchen. He walked over to the fridge and to the cabinets, while Matt used his arms to get the milk, the bowls and the cereal out. Matt poured the milk in the bowls, and then rex walked them back to the fridge.
"Okay! We can get two spoons, and then let's sit down and eat!" Matt said.
They walked over to the cabinet and got some spoons, before they walked back and sat down. Matt ate using his left hand, and Rex ate using his right hand.
After a few minutes, each had eaten about three-quarters of their cereal, when they both started feeling full.
"Man, I'm not hungry anymore..." Matt sighed.
"I'm full already!" Rex noticed.
They got up and poured the left-over cereal into the sink. Then they walked back into the bedroom, where they got a large t-shirt and a large pair of pants to wear to school.
"Ready for the quick shower?" Matt said. "We need to wash our hair. Come on! Step into the shower! I will rub the soap on our body and I'll shampoo our hair as well!"
Matt first rubbed soap all over their body, After Rex allowed them to rinse it off, Matt poured some shampoo on his hands, and he washed his hair. Then, he poured some shampoo on Rex's hair as well. Rex then walked them back so they were standing under the water, so they could rinse their hair.
Then they finally got out of the shower. Rex stepped them out and onto the dry towel on the floor, and Matt grabbed hold of the dry towel, which was hanging from the towel rack on the wall. He used both arms to dry his hair and Rex's hair, then he dried off the rest of their body. From then on, Rex walked them back into their bedroom, where Matt used his arms to get them dressed into their clothes. They found that they were forced to work together with everything, in order to get anything accomplished.
Once they were dressed, Matt asked Rex to walk them back into the bathroom, so he could brush their teeth and comb their hair. He had to do everything twice, since there were two sets of teeth to brush, and hair on two heads that needed to be combed as well. Finally, they were ready to walk to school!
"Dude! We can't take two bags to school! We can only carry one backpack!" Matt stated.
They did another round of rock-paper-scissors, and they decided to take Matt's backpack to school today.
They walked out of the condo and stepped into the car. They drove to the campus and wondered, what the first day in college would be like, as conjoined students...
