It took a minute for both of you to agree on what to where. You both
grabbed the same clothes. After that, you just stared at each other.
"Okay," You finally say. "I know your thinking the same thing, but one
of us has to say it. We can't be twins. What would Mom and Dad do if
they saw both of us."
"Well what do you think we should do. I'm not going anywhere. You
should change into somebody else." The other you pointed his finger.
"What?! Why should I change? I'm the original. See!" You waved your
fingers at him, showing the ring.
"No, I'm the original. See!" The other you did the same, showing yet
another ring.
"How can we both be the original Damon? One of us has to be the twin."
The other you opened his mouth to argue, but he closed his mouth. He
began looking off into space thinking. You know that because you do
the same thing. The other you then said, "Well maybe neither of us is
the original. Maybe the ring split the original into us."
You then began looking into space. The other you could be right. You
suddenly got a great idea. "Well if the ring split the original into
us, then maybe we can use the ring to go back together."
The other you gawked for a moment, but then his eyes lit up. "Oh, I
see. If we can into the same clothes, and use our rings..."
You finished, "then we should merge back into the original Damon."
Both of you nodded in agreement, and quickly stripped down again. The
other you grabbed your swets. It was old and had quite a few holes,
but it should still work.
You each fit your legs into the bottoms. Taking the top, both of you
slip it over your heads. You slipped your right hand through one, and
the other you slipped his left hand through the other. To keep balace,
You wrapped your left arm around the other you, and the other you
wrapped his right arm around you. It was very uncomfortable, but you
didn't have to wait long.
Each of your rings began to glow a bright shade of green. The process
started at your feet, slowly. They began to tingle as they meshed into
each other. The tingling sensation continued up your bodies, as they
continued to merge. You didn't pay much attention to lost of feeling
on your left side, figuring that feeling would return once your heads
were back together. Next, your hips and chests slid into each other.
By now the process had sped up. Following closely behind your chests
were each of the arms you two had wrapped around each other. Finally,
the process began to slow as the tingling reached each of your
shoulders. You felt your neck slid to the left slightly. Getting ready
for your heads to merge, you closed your eyes, but nothing hapened.
The tingling feeling faded away.
Opening your eyes, you see that the glow from the rings has faded as
well. Your stomach tightens, and your pulse rises. You know that the
merging did not go as planned. You quickly turn you head to the left,
but your smack into something. You and an identical voice yell out in
pain. You instinctively try to move your left hand to rub your head,
but it doesn't listen to you. You still can't even feel it. You glare
at you left hand, pleading with it to move, but it still doesn't.
You know that you were facing a mirror when you put the clothes, but
your horrified at what you might see. After a few moments, you close
your eyes, and then slowly tilt your head. With your head now pointing
directly at the mirror, you slowly open your eyes.
