Lucas stumbled into the room, breathing a sigh of relief as he got out of the rain. He shook his wet hair, trying to get the water out from it. He had been a run away from Minnesota, wanting to get away from his parents. When it started raining, he had been using his Adidas jacket as a cover when he found the Wax Museum. It was closed, but that didn't stop him from breaking in. He was cold and wet.
He didn't bother asking if anyone was here. He just started walking. Maybe he could find a place to sleep for the night or get something to eat. He walked through the house, looking at all the rooms. He'd never admit it, but he thought wax statues were really cool. He took art in school and had always wanted to do something like sculpt something out of wax.
He saw a room labeled "WESTERN HEROES". It was filled with various comic book characters like Robin, Superman, Spiderman, and Iceman. He noticed that right outside the entrance was a sculpture of Dash Incredible, that super hero from that Pixar movie. On the room across from that was a room labeled "ORIGINAL HEROES". It was filled with different costumed characters that obviously the sculpted created himself. Vince wondered if the sculptor had a thing for men in tights.
He walked over to a guy in red and realized that the costume was made from a rubber like material, close to latex or nylon. He then continued walking. Vince realized that on every 6 feet of wall was a pedestal with a different wax animal on it. There were eagles, raccoons, cats, ect. He walked over and picks up a miniature wax elephant. It was smooth and rough at the same time. He carefully place it back before walking further into the house.
He came to a crossroads. In front of him was a staircase leading to the second floor. On the top of the stairs were two nude wax statues. On the left was a man flexing his arms, showing off his smooth wax muscles. And on the right was a beautiful woman seeming to be washing herself. He felt tempted to go upstairs, looking for a bed when he saw the two doors on either side of the stair case.
On the left was a door labeled Kitchen and on the right was an unmarked door. His curiosity was divided. He was hungry and wanted to go into the kitchen, hoping to find food. But then again he was also tired and wanted to go look for a bed. And then there was the unmarked door.
Down in the basement, the caretaker watch with eager curiosity as Vince made his choice.
