George McCoy, mayor of a small town of a little over 20,000 people and entrusted with their safety, didn't know what to do. He had sought the position to make sure there were proper schools for the children and to prevent the town from being taken advantage of by neighboring areas. Never in his wildest nightmares had he ever expected to be faced by this abomination that towered above him, his shadow making the room even darker so that only the island of light on his table and one on the demon holding on to his secretary in the air afforded any aid to his eyes.
The monster breathed into Grace's groin once more and George was fascinated as Grace breathed with him, her cheeks growing flush before she was returned to the ground. Rather then run as George had expected Grace turned her eyes to look at George and he couldn't say why but there was something different about her eyes. Wrong. It grated at him and found himself staring to try and pin point the detail. He was unprepared as Grace stepped forward out of the pool of light and in the blink of an eye had crossed the distance of the office so that she was right beside him. George jumped back in to his chair, turning his head to and fro between Grace and the monster. The monster was doing nothing however while Grace had her face inches away from his own, her lips changing from their soft pink to a matte black. "Grace, what happened to you? What are you doing?"
Grace giggled like a school girl, "Silly, I'm here to do what ever you want. It's what I'm for." like explaining the most obvious thing in the world.
"Jesus, I'm married, I have a wife and kids."
The demon snarled at him and George was petrified. Grace waved her finger side to side. "You want your wife? All right." With out any further warning Grace's lips were locked with his. The sensation was slightly intoxicating, his mind got a little fuzzy, and his eyes found it hard to focus but when the kiss ended George pulled back and found himself looking at his wife. He struggled to understand and regain his senses and this woman allowed it. After a second look George could tell this wasn't his wife from here and now but rather the beautiful woman he had married 18 years ago, before the weight, the wrinkles, the fights. The other thing that gave it away was that the woman's lips were still that unnatural shade of black.
"Grace? Is that you?" Fear with a touch of wonder filled him.
The wife from the past pulled away from him and walked through the shadows and Grace was leaning against the demon, her strange eyes focused on him.
"A mere taste of her gift and you will have others. Is it a deal?"
"If I refuse?" George asked and only silence answered him. It was a silly question, born of bravado to try and cover his cowering. He knew what would happen, this thing would kill him or change him like he did Grace and find some one else. His only option was to take the deal and protect those he could. "I agree."
That was it, George thought, her eyes looked child like and innocent, completely at odds with how she had appeared underneath his desk and unbuckled his pants.
The demon moved to leave and George couldn't find himself to care, "I want you to look like Jessica Alba."
Now Jim would take care to remove anyone in the town that could possibly give him trouble and corrupt those that would further his goals.
