You mother stops at the clinic. Inside, there were animals waiting for regain their humanity. When your named is called, you and your mother go into a examination room. A man comes in. He says, "Hi, I'm Dr. Tom. I just want you to know that the vaccination will be quick and effective. However, I just want you that you may become completely human. Do you understand?" You nod you head "yes". Dr Tom says, "OK. This is going to hurt."
You feel the sting of the needle for a few seconds after the cure was injected. Human or Dog, you hated shots. Then you start to feel funny. You look at your front paws stretch out and your skeleton reconfigure. Your mind becomes more open and it becomes easier to think. After a few minutes it is over.
The doctor was right. You were indeed not completely human. You still had fur all over your body. Your head was mostly canine (but your eyes were soulful again). Your hands had claws and pads (but you had thumbs again). You still had to stand on your toes (but you were bipedal again). Still, you remembered what you thought beforehand. Maybe being an anthropomorphic dog would be cool. You hug you mother in celebration and return home to a new unpredictable life.
