Rian and Bradly were reading the newspaper while eating breakfast. They lived next door to each other; and were making plans to go to the beach that weekend. However one problem impeded their plans.
"So, you see any way to make some money?"-asked Rian
"No, there isn't anything for ten year olds to do, all say must be eighteen or older to participate. You?"- Bradly said whilst continuing his search.
"Only one, this medical research facility wants test subjects of all ages to try out their wide variety of new products. They seem to have a big opening once every five years. However, none of our parents are likely to sign off on this." Rian reported sounding all too serious.
Both kids burst out laughing, although it was true they knew that the only way to find out was to try. Both kids ran home and asked their parents. Bradly got an instant yes as his mother was all for giving kids a choice in their lives. Rian had to make his case clear, in addition to forging his father's signature. His father was a very rich and busy man who couldn't afford the time to sign papers, so most permission forms were forged. Both kids, relieved that they had gotten permission, walked to the facility together. In side they walked up to the counter and rang the bell.
"Yes, yes . . . hey aren't you a little young to be in here for testing?"- The clerk inquired.
"Nope, not according to your add."- Bradly retorted
"Anyway, we have signed parent consent forms, so we would be allowed to legally test any product."- Rian added in a harsh tone.
"Alright, I'll sign you two up as a party, and a doctor will get to you shortly."- The clerk said resenting his job.
It didn't take long to wait for the doctor, as he was very quick at setting up patients. In seconds they were sitting in a room for instructions.
