"Oh no!" Jamie shouted. "What's wrong?" Trish asked. "Well we know the curse is true now right?" They nodded. "Well she said the phrase to us. She passed it to us! We have to pick! NOW! Or we'll get both too!"
Trish and Liz realized this immediately. Almost in unison, they shouted, "Dare!" Now Jennifer was the one to make demands. They all looked at her nervously, unsure of what she would do. She had no ideas herself. "Uh, what do you guys want me to say?" she asked, as if she had no ideas herself.
"I don't care," Jamie said with urgency in her voice, "so long as you don't do anything harmful or embarrassing to us." She seemed to be more worried about the curse coming to her than Trish and Liz. "OK, OK. Just let me think for a minute." Jennifer realized that her friends had been telling her the truth. She was mean to them for no reason. As much of a horrible person as she was, she did still value her closest friends. And these three were definitely her closest friend.
She decided there was no point in sitting around naked any longer. She reached for her skirt and tried to put it back on. But she found that she was unable to put her feet through the skirt's hole. "What the hell?" she muttered. She now reached for her top, but had the same problem. No matter how hard she tried, her arms would not go into the arm holes of the top. Trish butted in, "I'll bet you can't undo the curse's effects until you've passed it."
"Oh since when are you the expert," Jennifer snapped. Trish looked hurt. "Just a thought. Jeez, I thought you had calmed down." Jennifer regretted that comment. "Sorry," she said, with half hearted sincerity. A thought crept into her mind. Yes, she thought, I've got the perfect dare. A smile slinked onto her face.
She turned and faced her friends. "Girls we do everything together, right?" "Right," they all said. "And we share a lot with each other too, right?" "Yea, sure," they answered differently. "Well then. There's no reason we shouldn't share this together either." None of them were quite sure what that meant. They would in a second.
