"So what shall we do now?" asked Ben. But Lucas was already gone, and Ben couldn't spot wherever it was he'd disappeared to. He shrugged. Oh well, he'd catch up with him later. It wasn't like they could get too terribly lost, after all; big as it was, this was still just one boat.
What Ben didn't know was that Lucas actually wasn't that far away; he was just hidden behind a stand of trees. He had spotted several comely young ladies who just happened to not have a stitch on, and had made a beeline towards them. It wasn't until he got closer and could see more than their upper bodies that he realized they weren't exactly normal.
Their faces and their upper torsos were human enough, but their lower bodies were those of birds. From the waist down, they were covered in feathers, with a downy patch covering their privates. Their legs started off somewhat human in shape, but tapered down to scaly bird legs at the knee, ending in talons that looked just sharp enough to make him nervous. Behind them were fans of tailfeathers, the size and shape varying with species. And as normal as most of their upper bodies were, instead of arms they had great soft feathered wings.
Not that this was even close to a deal-breaker for Lucas. After, they were still clearly girls, and visibly possessed most of the things he found important in a girl. He wasn't entirely sure about what was under the down, but hey, he'd never find out without trying, right?
Lucas walked over towards the harpy-girls. "Afternoon, ladies," he said, trying his best to sound suave, as if he hit on mythological beings all the time. "Nice to see some women who aren't ashamed of their bodies."
They smiled at him. It was a bit enigmatic of an expression, but hey, any smile is a good sign, right? "You like our bodies?" one of them said.
"Oh, absolutely," he said. "That's some classical beauty you've got going on."
"Would you to like to have a body like one of ours?" another asked. Lucas stopped for a moment to figure out if she was asking what he thought she was asking. "Are you kidding?" he said. "I'd have a body like yours any day of the week."
The first girl smiled again. "Come with me, then," she said. Lucas followed her, and she led him to a nearby pool. "Remove your clothes," she said. "Then dip yourself in the pool, if you want to join us."
Lucas couldn't belove his luck. Ten minutes on this ship, and he was already getting to do the adult swim with hot girls who were offering him their bodies? Why wasn't this in the brochure? He stripped, stepped into the pool, and dunked himself under...
...and emerged feeling very different. There was a weight on his chest that hadn't been there before, something long and sopping wet was weighing down his head and dripping onto his back, and his arms and legs just felt...different, somehow. He saw the harpy leader smiling warmly at him, and wondered why she hadn't joined him. What was going on here?
Lucas looked down, and got the shock of his life. Two moderately-sized and very definitely female breasts hung from his chest, below which he could just make out the contours of his now-feathered pubic area. He couldn't see what was underneath the down, but it was what he didn't see poking out that presented the strongest evidence.
She lifted her gaze just enough to spot her reflection in the water. She was a harpy now, petite but still shapely, with snow-white feathers, rosy skin, and long golden hair. She let out a shriek she'd never thought a human voice could produce. "What's going on!?" she screeched. "Why am I a bird-girl? What did you DO to me!?"
"We offered to let you use the pool to join us, and have a body like ours," the other harpy responded. "What did you think we were offering?"
