After driving for awhile, Dean finally pulled up to the lake. Allan
looked around, there was no one else here but them. "What are we doing
here?"
"Uh...I thought that this was a good place to be alone." Dean replied,
a little nervous.
Totally oblivious to Dean's feelings, Allan said, "Thats a good idea.
Hardly anyone ever comes here. Hey, lets go swimming."
Dean smiled, "Yeah...that sounds like fun." They quickly stripped to
their boxer, and walked down to the water. It was refreshing for both
for them. They just played and swam for an hour. Finally, they climbed
onto a rock to dry.
After awhile of talking on the rock, Allan yawned and closed his eyes
for a nap. Dean smiled as he watched Allan breathe rhythmically. He
could feel their chest rise and fall with every breath. Dean was lost
in thought. Debating about his feelings. Finally he grew the courage.
While Allan was still sleeping, Dean turned his head over, and kissed
Allan. First hesitantly, and then more passionately.
Suddenly, Allan awoke. His fist connected with Dean's cheek. Dean
cried out, and clutched his face with his hand. Allan roughly rubbed
his mouth. He screamed, "WHAT WAS THAT?!"
Dean moaned, "That was kiss."
Allan desperately, but uselessly tried to back away from Dean. When he
remebered that he couldn't, he settled for glaring at him. "WHY DID
YOU KISS ME?"
Dean turned away, embarrassed. "I...I have feelings for you."
"Feelings...for me? I don't have feelings for you, let alone any other
boy. I LIKE GIRLS!" Allan replied.
"Yeah right. No one has ever seen you talk, let alone date a girl. You
always hang out with us. Besides I have seen the way you looked at
me." Dean said. Allan was on the soccer team just like Dean.
Allan was now embarrassed, his cheeks turned bright red. "For one
thing, I was never looking at you in the way you think. And, I have
never dated any girls because...I...I get nervous around girls. I
wanted to ask you to ask your sister for me."
"Oh" was all Dean could say. There was an awkward silence between them
now.
Finally, Allan said, "I think its time to separate." Dean just nodded.
The car ride over to Mark and Max's house was in total silence.
