English class was first.
Jennifer had no problems in English. It was not hard for her to read and write the occasional essay. That freed up a lot of class time for boy watching. Near her desk sat Cam. The tall, wiry captain of the basketball team. Jennifer loved to talk with Cam all through class whenever their teacher was not actually teaching.
"Hey Cam," Jennifer said sliding into her desk chair. She flashed him a winning smile that she knew he liked.
Cam for his part played it as cool as he could. "What's happening, Jenn?" He looked her up and down admiring the length of leg that could be seen in the cheer uniform she sported.
"I just heard some great news," Jennifer said cocking her head and smiling better than the Cheshire Cat.
"Oh?" Cam said. He sat upright in his seat and feigned little interest.
Jennifer leaned closer to Cam. She arched her back as she did so to let him get a good look at her ample chest. Cam leaned down so she could whisper. And also to take the offered look. "Tim asked Cathy out last night," Jennifer said passing the information.
"Oh?" Cam said. Cam shifted his eyes to hers and they held the moment.
"Yeah," Jennifer said breathily. "Cathy said they were making-out last night."
Cam sniffed the air. "Something smells good. Is that a new lip-balm? It smells fruity."
Jennifer pulled back. "Yeah, melon-grape. Pretty nutty about Cathy and Tim, huh?"
Cam also pulled back. "Whatever. They were going to get together sooner or later." He seemed to lapse back into himself but he continued to stare at her. "You look really good today, Jennifer."
Jennifer felt the same flash of heat in her lips again. It came and went in a second and she could not help but feel that something had changed. At that moment the bell rang to start the class. As the teacher started her lecture for the day, Jennifer fished in bag for the small mirror she kept there. Trying to hide her distraction she examined her lips.
To her surprise her lips were indeed a little larger than they had been in the hall. They were red and glossy and they stuck noticably more than what was normal. Jennifer opened and closed her mouth and smiled and pouted to see if it was just an illusion. After a minute she had to conclude that her lips were swollen. She would have worried but reason calmed her first. There was no immediate danger and she was certain it must be the aforementioned lip balm. She must have gotten the plumping brand by mistake. She would have to stop using it but for now she liked the effect.
So did Cam, she thought. Returning to the world she look around to see what she missed in her few minutes of quiet time. The lecture was still going on and everyone was bored to one degree or another. She would have to find something to entertain herself. Looking over at Cam she found him staring deep into his desk deep in thought.
That was when she felt another hot flash. Bigger and located somewhere new.
