"Well, that's a wild story, but I really think we better get out of
here if we don't want to end up statues too."
"Think I could get something to wear first?" asked Nick.
"Dude, I don't believe your story for a minute. You and somebody
rigged this whole stunt for some reason. I don't know what, but I know
it was an illusion and not real magic. There ain't no such thing!"
An unseen high pitched laugh echoes through the mansion.
"Ooh, man, I feel dizzy."
"Me too, maybe there's a gas leak and we're hallucinating this whole
thing with Nick."
"Mike, Jay, are you okay? What's happening?"
As Nick watches Jay and Michael begin to shrink and solidify. They're
clothing balloons around them, and they collapse into heaps of
clothing. He fishes out two small 10" clay figures from the clothing.
"Whoa! Now you're statues! I wonder what you did to break my spell? I
hope you don't mind if I borrow your clothes, but I'll get you guys
out of here to safety."
Nick pulled on Jay's pants and Mike's shoes. They both had lame taste
in shirts, but he did like Jay's hoodie. So clad in their clothing
with Jay in his right hoodie pocket and Mike in his left hoodie
pocket, Nick fled from the mansion.
