"Wow!" Fran gasped, "this place is huge, isn't it, sister?"
"Yes it is," Darla agreed.
"We could chase down things here," Kaylee commented as she looked at the extensive grounds that surrounded the mansion.
"I hate to tell you this girls, but the trees on the grounds have been planted to look good, not to provide any sort of natural benefit," Jensen spoke, "and my father employed men to chase off any animals that did come onto the grounds."
"Are there any fruit trees?" Kaylee asked.
"A couple of apple trees," Jensen shrugged, "Why do you ask?"
"Because they would attract deer," Kaylee spoke, "cancel out your father's orders and let the deer come and then we can eat the deer. It's not like we can digest fruit now anyway."
Jensen nodded as that would be an option for dealing with what would be their likely food crisis in the future, but something about it didn't sit well with the whole "big bad wolf" persona, but then again, the big bad wolf in the stories was always on his own. Jensen had a pack of she-wolves to help him and would soon have four more wolves, although they would all be much younger then Jensen, his mate, and the twins. So Jensen was fairly certain that their current story would unfold very differently from the way the fictional "big bad wolf" behaved.
"That will be an issue for later," Jensen answered, "the grounds crew has likely already finished their work for the day and is gone, and Martha appeared to have the day of before Kyle called me."
Kaylee's parents traded nervous glances as they followed Jensen and Kaylee toward the front door of the mansion. They wanted desperately to free their son from curse that the game had put on him, but between the power of the "dare" they were under, and the fact that four large and powerful wolf-like creatures, all of whom appeared to enjoy being what they were, were keeping an eye on them made the likelihood of escape or winning a fight unlikely.
"Then we can go about disposing of my vehicle," Fran spoke, "If no one is here to see..."
Jensen turned to Fran and Darla, who were hanging back to the rear of the group. He then nodded. It would be like running a chop-shop on the two vehicles, but if they were left in tact, any one of the estate's grounds keepers might recognize the license plates and put two and two together with reported missing vehicles, which were certain to come out eventually.
"Push them into the garage," Jensen ordered, "you'll need to lift the door first, but there should be room for them. You'll find everything you need to make sure that nothing on those vehicles will be traceable to us."
"At once, Master," the twins chorused together.
The twins then each moved back toward the vehicles while Jensen turned back to Kaylee's parents.
"You know what to do," Jensen said as he opened the door.
Kaylee's parents nodded and walked in. They didn't want to do this to two innocent people, but the power the "dare" held over them was too much. They began to wander the house in search of Jensen's parents.
Jensen and Kaylee followed at a distance. Jensen didn't want to be close when the question was asked. Like Jennifer before, Jensen's parents didn't believe that the powers behind "transform or dare" were real and if they didn't see the male wolf creature that Jennifer became, Jensen reasoned, that they might actually choose transform rather then dare, but that would have to wait until Kaylee's parents found Jensen's parents.
The search for Jensen's parents didn't take long, as they eventually heard conversation coming from an office on the first floor. They nervously glanced back toward Jensen. The black furred wolf creature nodded, and Kaylee's parents walked into the room.
Their appearance startled a man sitting at a desk, and a woman standing near a window.
"Who are you?" Jensen's father demanded, "how did you get into my house? What are you doing here?"
"You're not here to rob us, are you?" Jensen's mother asked.
"We are here to ask you a question," Kaylee's father spoke calmly, unable to fight "dare" he was under.
"Oh?" Jensen's father asked back, "and what is that? Ask it quick, before I through you out."
"Transform or dare, to the both of you," Kaylee's father and mother spoke in unison.
