As the dogs wake up and begin to bark suddenly the light flick on bathing the room into eye blinding light. “Ok what’s got you dogs stirred up? Oh my!”
Blinking your eyes to see even as your nose tells you the female hindleg walker is in the room. Looking about the room you see the human vet tech standing by one door and Ruth standing by your cage door. Only Ruth is not in her human form but that of a cross between human and canine as if having been caught in the act of shifting.
“Let me out!” you woof in canine looking to the two as your tail wags excitedly behind you.
Ruth reaches with a paw like hand and opens the door of your cage never looking away from the watching human.
The vet tech nervously reaches for a large muzzle on a near by table also not daring to look away from the six foot well muscled malamute bitch standing on hind legs before her. “Nice doggie.” The human offers while plainly smelling of fear even to your nose.
