Dean and Kevin lead Allan into the kitchen and began making their tacos. Allan hadn't gone home yet and was starving. Dean and Kevin had to use both hands to hold each taco, and as a result, they would both lean in to take a bite then bump heads. Allan was getting a good laugh at Dean and Kevin's frustration. They had decided to take turns after each bite, and hugged their other half to make up. Neither Dean nor Kevin missed Allan's reaction; he had gone quiet and looked away. Dean spoke up, still feeling like they were putting Allan in a weird position. "Allan, is everything ok? If me and Kevin are bothering you by being like this, I'm sorry, but there isn't anything we can do about it right now..."
"Oh, no, it's fine!" Allan tried to clarify, "I know you can't split yourselves. It's just... strange." Dean and Kevin both gave Allan confused looks. "Seeing you two all buddy buddy with each other. Dean and Kevin! The two guys who hate each other the most in the world... are sitting across the table hugging each other."
Kevin began laughing, "Well when you're this close to your mortal enemy it's hard to stay that way. We have to work together for everything now!" Kevin pointed at their taco being chased around the plate by Dean's hand in a futile attempt to pick it up. "We don't have the choice of being enemies right now."
"Ya, we learned that the hard way..." Dean rolled his eyes, giving up on the taco and thinking back to when he and Kevin had their first unpleasant adventure being conjoined. "The first time we got joined, all we did was fight. We couldn't walk for more than two minutes without breaking out into punching and kicking."
Kevin nodded his head and added to their story, "We kept fighting over who's fault it was, and exactly who was stuck to who. You know... "Stop moving my leg!" "It's not your leg, its mine!" It wasn't a lot of fun." Dean and Kevin both laughed and hugged each other again.
"Huh, so now the two of you are pretty close." Allan looked up to see Dean and Kevin stand and rub their hands all over their shared body. Allan rolled his eyes and couldn't stop the grin from spreading across his face. "You guys need to get a room! Anyways, you know what I mean!" Allan started to go quiet again, "You're just lucky to have a friend who you can be like that with."
"Well... Allan... You and me were like this." Dean sounded a bit annoyed.
"I know, I know." Allan sighed, "But seeing you guys like that... Makes me believe I over reacted." There was a moment where everyone just sat quietly and finished off their plates.
Kevin couldn't take the silence any longer and blurted out "Want to try it again?" Both Dean and Allan stared at him, having no clue what he was talking about. "Allan, Do you want to try being stuck to Dean again?"
"How?" Dean butted it, "We can't even split ourselves!"
"Remember?" Kevin looked to Dean, expecting him to clue in on something, but the blank stare Dean gave him told him otherwise. "Remember what we're boring from Luke's house?"
"What? His conjoined suit?" Dean asked. His eyes lit up and looked over to Allan. "That's right! We could try and see if the suit would join you to us!"
"Wait a second. Why do you guys have it?" Allan asked.
"Ummm... We kind of took it from Luke's house without asking..." Dean sheepishly said. Kevin sighed and finished talking, "We were going to take it to school tomorrow and leave it somewhere and who would find it, and maybe watch them get stuck to someone else... But there would be no harm in us using it tonight!" Kevin and Dean exchanged grins then looked to Allan.
Alla thought about it for a moment then shrugged, "Oh what the hell... Let's try it!"
