I decided that bringing Aunt Cathy back to life was the day's good deed and bearing her irritating company was for another day. "Well," I rubbed her shoulder. "If you're okay after the tumble I'm going to go hang out with Sara."
"Yes, I think I have a fucking concussion. I have to get my vet over here anyway. Maybe he can explain me changing or something. And take a look at my broken tooth. All I can taste is blood! Damn health care for horses... my HMO doesn't cover that. Anyway, yeah!" Cathy ranted as she grabbed a nearby mobile phone. "Tell the girl she's on her own for supper. I've got a date tonight with... uh... a farmer."
She was still talking as I climbed the stairs and knocked on Sara's door. To my surprise, the unicorn opened it. He had a dreamy expression on his face and his mane was ruffled wildly. He was wearing a blanket around his waist.
"Oh, James!" Sara said meekly. "Yeah... come in."
I stepped into the room and was immediately assaulted with the smell of fresh animal sex. Sara was lying on the bed clad in the other blanket, drenched with sweat. Her hair was absolutely insane, draped over her shoulder and frizzed all over.
"So?" I asked, watching as the unicorn sat on the edge of the bed. He too was drenched in sweat, and I saw something long, limp, and black accidentally fall out of the blanket. I averted my eyes quickly before he saw I saw, but he shot me a smug glance.
"Let me put it this way." Sara began. She pointed to the cracked drywall and a large hole in the wall. Then she smiled insanely. "And right now, I'm pretty much the hallway you throw the hot dog down."
"Oh, God!" I winced. "That's sick!"
"What?!" Sara laughed maniacally. "You just saw it. He's fucking huge!"
"Does he have a name yet?" I changed the subject, blushing.
"Sure! We decided to call him Toy."
"Toy?" I mocked, nearly bursting out laughing.
"Yes!" The unicorn, Toy, smiled. "I thought it was a lovely name."
"Well. Glad you two are happy. Now what do we do?" I asked.
"I dunno." Sara smiled. "I want to fuck my pony again, but it's up to you."
