You were horrified to see Nancy eat Danny. She had told you she had ate rats when she was little but she didn't mention that she had moved up to eating kids. You had to get out of here before she decided to eat you too. Before you could move however your body went numb like someone had injected you with Novocaine. Then you saw your hand and arm turning pink. Nancy quickly let go of your hand and slithered to a corner by a phone. You however were too focused on what was happening to your body to notice much else. You watched as your pink skin became pink scales and your fingernails became claws. You watched as your thumb moved down to the middle of your wrist. You vaguely heard Nancy telling someone named Caitlin to come to your room and going over to the door.
You heard a ripping sound as your body expanded. You fell to all fours as your hips shifted to a quadruped form. You thighs shortened and your shins and calves lengthened. Your big toe moved to the back of your heels and your feet shortened while your toes grew longer. Your toenails became dark claws like your fingernails had done. Your head shifted so you were looking at the wall instead of the floor. Your neck lengthened while your face pushed out into a pointed snout and your eyes moved to the side of your head and turned yellow with slits for pupils. Your ears melted into your head but you could still hear and better than before. Wings grew out of your back and a tail grew from you bottom while small spikes grew down your spin from the top of your head to the tip of your tail. Of course your hair had pulled inside as you changed.
Your change took two minutes and at the end you let out a roar as you felt your body properly. Your sense of smell was heightened as was your sight and hearing. You couldn't feel much of the floor because of your scales but that wasn't a big deal. You were able to see your wings without moving your head. You saw Nancy by the open door and you felt the need to eat her. You noticed that you were the same height as Nancy now but dismissed it as being irrelevant for the moment.
You about to lunge at Nancy when a girl of about fifteen came in. The movement caught your attention and she kept waving her arms and jumping up and down saying, "Eat me!" In some part of your mind you were frantic trying to regain control before you ate someone. However you were hungry and the instincts of the dragon you were now identified the girl as live prey. You lunged forward dislocating your jaw as you did and taking her head in your mouth. You pushed your mouth down her body until her head was in your throat. There your throat muscles started doing their work as you started to swallow the girl. You could feel her body slide down your throat and into your stomach.
Once the girl was in your stomach you were able to regain control and you were horrified that you had just eaten her. You could feel her moving around in your stomach and you thought you could hear her screams of pain. "What have I done?" you asked looking at Nancy.
Nancy must have seen the horror in your eyes since she said, "It's alright Lisa."
"HOW CAN THIS BE ALRIGHT?" you screamed. "I JUST ATE SOMEONE. I'M A MONSTER."
"You're not a monster," Nancy said making her voice soothing. "Don't worry about Caitlin. She'll be alright."
"She's in my stomach," you growled. "She won't be alright. She's dying in there." You closed your eyes and began to cry.
"Professor Pratt forgot to tell you that Shifters are near impossible to kill didn't she?" Nancy asked with her hands on her hips or what would be her hips if she had legs.
"What do you mean?" you asked opening your eyes.
"Due to the nature of being a Shifter our bodies can reform from just about anything that's done to it," Nancy said. "It's theorized that the only way a Shifter can die is from old age or a disease and even that's debatable."
"You mean we could live forever?" you asked astonished.
"That's a theory," Nancy said shrugging. "May I feel you digesting Caitlin?"
"Uh... go ahead," you said not sure what to do now. As she put her hand on your belly you asked, "So what happens now?"
"Well you shifted involuntarily I would imagine," Nancy said rubbing your belly. "It was probably because you were upset seeing me eat Danny. I'm sorry about that by the way. I just assumed you knew that some of us eat other students and staff on school grounds."
"So they're alright with this?" you asked in surprise.
"They are," Nancy said putting her ear against your belly. "I think Caitlin is slowing down. Soon her body will be mush and she'll continue on her journey through you."
"Exactly what will happen?" you asked. It might be morbid but you were curious.
"Oh in a couple of hours or maybe as long as four you'll expel the waste from your body," Nancy said patting your belly and her's. "After that you'll probably shift back and then over the next two hours Caitlin will reform from the waste."
"So I shouldn't go in the toilet then," you said giggling a little.
Nancy swatted you and said, "You can't use the toilet in your current form anyway. Oh I should mention that I don't eat my roommates unless they want me to. I would appreciate it if you didn't eat me. I don't like pain which is the reason I don't shift much."
"What about Danny and Caitlin?"
"Oh they like pain and would be shifting constantly if their shifts were painful. Since they're not they go to other lengths to feel pain. Danny comes by to feed me to feel the pain of digesting inside me. I've seen him and Caitlin fly up high and shift back free falling to the ground and often on spikes they've placed below."
"They really want the pain?" you asked shaking your head.
"They do," Nancy said giggling. "They seem to derive pleasure from it. I'd hate to see what they'd have their partners do when they start having sex."
"That could be interesting," you said in a thoughtful tone.
"Well maybe you and Danny will get together someday," Nancy said leaning against your leg.
"What's Caitlin's last name?" you asked suddenly.
"It's Helms," Nancy said stroking your leg. "You know you make a cute dragon."
"Thanks," you said blushing under your scales.
"You are and you're also a cute girl," Nancy said with a smile. "Well since tomorrow is Saturday we'll have the day to ourselves. I'll show you around and introduce you to some people. Perhaps you'll find an activity you'd like to join."
"Are you in any activities?" you asked turning your head to see her with both your eyes.
"Oh there's a couple I'm involved with," Nancy said with a smile. "I do swimming and tail wrestling."
"Tail wrestling?"
"It's like arm wrestling except you use your tail. Do you want to try it?"
"Sure," you said shrugging.
"Alright then," Nancy said as she slithered behind you. Once she was she raised her tail and said, "Wrap your tail around mine." You did as she said and once your tails were wrapped around each other she said, "Ready. Set. Go!"
It was more difficult than you thought. You had been sure you would easily beat her but her tail was strong. It was going on fifteen minutes and neither one of you had been able to move the other's tail more than a couple of inches. Finally your tail muscles gave out and Nancy slammed your tail down. Unwrapping your tails Nancy said, "You should think about doing tail wrestling when you learn to control your shifts. That was one of my best matches. You were giving it everything you had weren't you?"
"Of course," you said panting.
"You might also think about doing the aerial races and aerial acrobats," Nancy said with a smile. "I think you'd be good at those."
"I'll think about it," you said not committing yourself to anything.
"If you can change into other forms there are other activities you can become involved in," Nancy said coming over to pat you on the shoulder. "Of course you'll want to take off your clothes before you shift again," she said looking at your ruined clothes.
"I don't want to be nude in front of everyone," you said shuddering at the thought.
"Oh you'll get used to it," Nancy said shaking her head and smiling. "Many of us still lose control at times and we either shrink right out of our clothes or we rip them with our expanding bodies. Then when we shift back we're naturally nude. You'll see many of the students, especially the new ones like yourself, nude a lot."
"But what about the laws against public nudity?" you asked.
"You've her of nudist colonies and camps right?" Nancy asked her voice serious.
"I have," you said nodding.
"Well those are on private land as is this school and the grounds," Nancy said smiling. "As long as we're not doing anything sexual with those under age then it's no problem."
"But it must be embarrassing."
"Only until you get used to the fact that you'll be nude at times in front of everyone. It's so common that those of us that have been here for a time don't pay any attention to someone being naked. You noticed how Danny and I just casually took our clothes off?"
"I did but I thought you two were going to do something else."
Nancy got a disgusted look on her face and punching you said, "That's sick Lisa. I would never do that."
"Sorry but I didn't know what was happening," you said lowering your head. "Why did you two take your clothes off?"
"Well two reasons," Nancy said seeming to accept your apology. "The first is that we tend to go through our clothes so there's no reason to ruin them unnecessarily. The second is that the clothes don't taste as good as the flesh."
"I understand why Danny took his clothes off but what about you?"
"Well it's easier to swallow someone when your body isn't constricted by clothes," Nancy said smiling. "You must have seen how my body expanded as I swallowed Danny. Well if I still had my clothes on they would have restricted my body expanding and it would have taken longer to swallow him. Not to mention that my bra would have been cutting into me."
You both laughed and laid down on the floor to let your meals digest.
