When I came home after this long and exhausting day, it struck me
like the wrath of the gods:
Oh no! I had forgotten the flowers for my wife's birthday again!
Why on earth had I been so distracted? - Well, of course, I knew why. -
But my enthusiasm about Tina Turner could not help me, when facing
my angry wife on evenings like tonight.
So, after about two hours of domestic fright and yelling, I had to flee
our house for the rest of the night. - Terribly tired, I decided to return
to the agency to work through some unfinished case files, so that this
ruined night would get at least something positive.
I was really surprised, when Agent Bones called in and wanted to
double-check Tina Turner's address with me. When I asked him
about the reason, he told me, that she had invited him to her home.
"Oh, lucky boy!" - I thought, though I wouldn't have expected, that a simpleton
like Bones would get a chance with our busty goddess... - But who knows,
what Tina really had in mind! Perhaps the sexy spider just wanted to devour
another fly...
I concentrated on my work again, when suddenly a press report on the telly
caught my attention: There had been a dreadful explosion on a remote island,
which in particular had destroyed a villa in the possession of the rich family
of the Trattorinas. And those Trattorinas were, as I knew from a confident
source, the arch-enemies of... well, the Cardamones.
"So, they have no idea yet, who killed Vito..." I thought to myself.
"Or they had to demonstrate their strength to their enemies..."
So, I changed my mind, deciding to delay the old cases and have a deeper
look into the background of the Trattorinas instead. Perhaps I might be
interesting to get a mole into their organization as well...
