I grinned and said, "Awesome! We totally have to watch those finals!" Amy nodded agreement then I said, "Hey, I totally forgot, I wanted to head over to the mall and pick up a shirt and a hat, you know, show my support."
Amy grinned and nodded, "Sounds like a great idea James!" I grabbed my wallet, and she grabbed her purse and we headed out.
I noticed that there were no cars, and as I let Amy lead me to the mall I took in the sight of the many beautiful women, bonded and unbonded, and the few men, almost all of them, even my own age, accompanied by at least a pair of women wearing distinctive collars. The mall was a surprise when we arrived as well. No longer the tiny rural affair I remembered it was a huge sprawling deal with multiple floors and attractions. I grinned and looked to Amy, who had already made her way to a kiosk with all kinds of fan gear. I ended up buying a shirt with a picture of Sam's transformed form on it and Amy got a hat. Just as we were about to leave I turned and noticed we were being watched by two separate groups.
One group was a lone girl, thin, pale, and striking, and I only saw here a moment before she pulled up the black hood of her jacket and disappeared. The other group was not so circumspect. No less than six teenage girls, all surrounding one boy, all seven dressed in outlandish black and white outfits, festooned with chains and with outrageous hair.
Amy reacted to them quickly, "Shit, it's Greg again. That bastard's not likely to take his brother's lose in the battle well. We should scram."
I thought a moment, then decided for myself what we would do...
