You sit at one of the tables in the food court, turning the futuristic Age Changer in your hands. You were enthusiastic at first, finding a remote that can control a person's age (in four different settings, no less)for only twenty bucks!
But now you're skeptical. The device SOUNDS incredible, but can it really do everything the box said it could. Well...only one way to find out.
You look around at the other people in the food court. It's pretty empty, as the lunch rush had already come and gone. Then your eye catches on a young couple, smiling, laughing, and talking with one another. The girl, blond and pretty, gets up from the table and walks off in the direction of the restrooms, leaving the guy by himself. The guy seems pretty average. Brown/black hair, slim build, faint shadow on his jaw, and just overall nice looking.
You hold the remote up to the guy and flick the ON switch on the side. The screen briefly shows "SCANNING REALITY", before showing an image of the man's face, next to "Randal Scott, 23". Underneath that, you see "Physical Age" in a box next to "+/- 0 years/second". Pushing the up and down buttons, you find that you cycle through the different change options: Physical Age, Mental Age, Clothes, and Reality.
You smirk. Randal could potentially be your first test subject. That is, if this thing really works...
