Lisa sighed groggily as she woke up. Her nap didn't help her at all, and she still felt awful. The morning was still replaying in her head and she couldn't seem to find any way to get rid of it.
The cramping had grown almost unbearable now, so Lisa slowly made her way to the bathroom, doubled over and feeling miserable. As she went, a moist feeling crept up on her and she knew what had caused the cramping sensations to double. Once she was in the bathroom a quick investigation confirmed it: menstruation. Her heart sunk a bit. It was a heavy flow, and it meant that the estrogen hormone as at its lowest while the testosterone hormone was at its peak. She had a feeling it would bring on more than irritability.
She cleaned herself up and sluggishly went back downstairs to where her breakfast still sat on the table. It was a cold, fried egg with bacon that very quickly went into the garbage. Lisa knew that eating anything right now would just be vomitted back up.
She also found a note on the fridge telling her where her mom and Jen had gone. She kind of figured that they'd be heading there. She wondered what Audrey would think if she saw her now. She quickly brushed that thought from her mind; she didn't need any more worries at the moment.
