When Mike, now Molly, finished twisting her son into a balloon animal, her heavily made-up eyes glanced at the computer screen and an idea popped into her clown brain with an audible noise. Her gloved hands begin tapping away at the keys. Soon Chris began to reform back into his old self. He breathed a sigh of relief.
"Ok, Da-er-Mom, this experiment has gone far enough. I think it's time to change you back," said Chris.
"Change me back? Back to what?" squeaked Molly, genuinely confused. "I am your mother, as I've always been! And though you were born a human, your father and I have done the best we could raising you. Maybe it wasn't enough. But now... now I can actually fix that."
The drama of the moment was momentarily shattered when she reached up and gave her nose a loud honk. And then with a high-pitched giggle, she pressed the enter key.
Chris felt a tingle run up his spine and a pit form in his stomach. He didn't like where this was going one bit.
"From now on you'll be a clown just like us!"
Chris caught a reflection of himself in the fun house mirror where his old one used to be. It was hard to tell exactly what was happening with all the distortion, but by now his skin had definitely turned milky white.
"What's more? You'll be the daughter we've always wanted!"
