... A giggle.
Astara pulled back a lock of her blonde hair, and shifted her legs, reclining on her throne. It was a throne made of bones, with blue fire lighting up the hallway. Astara herself was dressed a sexy gown that cut off at the legs, but her eyes and face had a certain playful or "cute" quality to them. Standing near her was her aide de comp, the innocent-looking Dana, who was fidgeting visibly. Even to this day, her youthful and softened body causing her to feel vulnerable.
"Dana~ You remember that really wonderful world we almost wound up attacking? Where a couple of self-styled goddesses did our work for us?"
Dana blushed and nodded.
"... they just threw a huge wrench in Igna's plans. They're getting involved. Ohoho dear~ this kingdom is simply getting PINCHED by superior, feminine powers isn't it?"
The younger succubus didn't know what to say. She's helped Astara conquer many worlds by this point. Worlds that Astara deemed unworthy of being ruled by humans with their own willpower. By now even she believed her world deserved it -- torn by strife and suffering on a continent everyone ignored, now a warped plane populated by desire-driven demonesses. She felt a surging loyalty and admiration for Astara though, because oddly her family life at home got to be a lot better once everyone changed. Her former little brother was a lot nicer and well behaved as a little devil child, ironically.
"Dana... this 'angel' is going to root out the impostor. You know what this means, right? If you must, you have my permission to act."
The younger succubus' eyes went wide. She knew exactly what that meant.
"J-Jeffrey! Oh no, he's going to be in danger! Worse danger than before! Oh no... oh no. Thank you, Astara! I'll be back!"
She bowed furiously and took off with her wings towards the chaos portal down the hall. Jeffrey was a boy she rescued from Pleasure Island -- she undid the donkey transformation curse, but on the condition he take the form of the prince of another world for a while. Then he'd get to go home. She wasn't counting on him ever being found out though. He was in danger for sure -- and demon girl or not, Dana still had a heart. She was going to fix this.
