Crossing in front of you, Jack peers into the mirror and then after a moment, adjusts the bodice part on the costume. Turning back, Jack tells you in a feminine voice, "What's with you lately? You are starting to act really weird." and then turning around, Jack looks into the mirror, reaches into a drawer, applies a dab of something to his, now her, face and then exits the bathroom.
Unsure of what just happened, you pause for a moment and then go after Jack, noting that it is getting easier to move around on four legs.
Finding Jack inside her room, you stop when you notice that it has been redecorated as a young woman's room. Shrugging it off, you ask, "So what time is the party and what time do we have to be there," noting that the tag on Jack's costume has vanished.
Setting down a pair of pants, Jack moves over to you and then squatting down before you, she explains, "Listen...I know that foxtaurs don't have a lot of rights and all that...and I applaud your efforts to change the system...after all...you are the first to be able to go to college and the first to be allowed to live with a human...but I am having second thoughts about taking you to this party. A lot of the people there might object. That, I have a really bad feeling about bringing you along."
Taken aback, you wonder what is happening, noticing that Jack is looking more and more like a young woman fresh off to college. Misunderstanding your silence, Jack asks you, "You understand, right?"
Unsure what to say, you nod in agreement and Jack stands up. Turning back to what she was doing, she adds, "Oh yeah. No offense, but you either need to learn how to use the toilet or need to clean out your litter box more often," and then starts to fold her clean clothes and put them away.
Completely thrown through a loop, you just nod and tell her, "Sure thing Jackie," unaware that you've just addressed her by a female name.
Turning about, you head for your room, but stop as you realise that it is no longer your room and it is now just a place Jackie stores odds and ends. Confused, you wander the apartment you share with Jackie, noting the litter box in the bathroom. After a bit, you find a dog-like kennel that has clearly been set up for you and entering, you lay down on the soft blanket inside.
After a bit, Jackie, who looks shorter then when she was Jack, comes down the hall and into the room your kennel is in and telling you, "I'm going and I'll probably see you tomorrow at school. Should I lock the door on my way out or will you be going out to get a bite to eat?"
Wondering what else in the world has changed, you tell Jackie, "I think I might go out in a bit to get something to eat."
Jackie nods and tells you, "Good idea...don't let the system keep you down and cooped up. Don't forget to take your key and make sure you wear your collar and a shirt," and with these two last bits of advice, she leaves.
Laying in your kennel, noticing for the first time the collar, complete with tags, hanging from one of the kennel walls, you wonder what it is you have got yourself into and if there is any way to undo the situation you suddenly find yourself in. As you ponder this and other things, you reach over and take down the collar, realising suddenly that you sense of smell must be better because Jackie had a very pleasant odour to her and it wasn't her perfume.
