The camera flashed again, and the changes seemed to accelerate. Conner wanted to scream, to run away, but he was unable to move a muscle. The statue was even smaller now, obviously a boy now instead of the hot young man he'd been when he entered. The camera flashed twice more, and then Conner stumbled and nearly fell over as he was suddenly released.
He gasped and stared at himself. Whatever had changed him had also transformed his clothing - he was wearing some sort of colorful underwear decorated with cartoon dragons. Kid's clothing. He went over to the statue and squatted down to stare at it.
This sure was not what Conner had looked like when he was a child. The statue showed a coarse-featured, skinny little boy who couldn't be more than 8 or 9 years old. Shaggy haired and sorta dumb-looking, he looked like he'd grow up into a nobody, too skinny and weak to be an athelete and too dumb to be a geek.
Eyes wide, Conner felt his mouth - his teeth sure felt like they could be the protruding, crooked buck teeth of the statue. "No!" It was a child's voice that shouted out. Spinning around, he looked for a mirror, and saw one over by the door.
It confirmed his worst fears. He was the boy shown by the statue. An ugly retard. Tears began to stream down his face. "Please, whoever did this. Please don't leave me stuck like this!"
A voice echoed in the room. "Foolish young man. Your pride was your undoing. However, I suppose something oculd be done if you are so horrified by this new body. Would you like to be strong again, even stronger than before? Handsome, too, and sexually enhanced so that you were sought after for sex?"
Conner looked around, bewildered. "Who? Uh.. yeah! I want that! Please, not this dumb kid!"
"Even if it means a shorter life? This dumb kid will live to be a hundred."
"I don't care! I'd rather die at 70 and be handsome and strong."
"Very Well." The voice chuckled. "Your wish is granted. But I never said you would live to be 70."
