Alex suddenly saw a section that was separate from the rest. It had a sign above it that said "Memories", and there were two knobs. One knob had "World Memories" on a small screen above it, and the other had "Self" on a similar screen. Under each title was the phrase "Boy-to-Girl", which Alex figured meant what everyone remembered about the transformation.
Assuming that this meant what set of memories that Chris had, Alex turned each knob until they only said Girl, and then she moved away from that section.
She went back to the original console and decided that she wanted to fix a couple of things. Turning the bust size knob, she changed Chris's bust to a C cup. As she did this she said, "Honestly, that was just too much of a good thing." She also decided that black hair with some red highlights (she figured that the necklace would also cause Chris to regularly get highlights) would look much better, and she changed Chris's eye color to a dark, almost black color.
Satisfied with these adjustments, she pressed a button that said "Save changes". Suddenly tired, Alex started to close her eyes. All she heard as the world went black was a disembodied voice saying "Please allow one day for all changes to take effect."
