Chris didn't get where he was by testing new technology on himself. After getting the Morphomax fully upgraded and ready to go, he pulled up the company employee roster and scanned down the list. Nope. Too valuable. Too visible. Family man. He stopped about a third of the way down. Daniel Fletcher. Danny - the mail room clerk. A high school dropout, now in his mid-20s and still delivering mail. Always alone, even at the few office family functions. Perfect.
He touched the intercom button. "Ingrid? I have an important package to go out later today. Will you have Danny come up? I need to make sure he knows all the particulars."
"Yes sir. I'll call down now."
Sure enough, in less than 5 minutes there was a hesistant knock on the door. "Uh, sir? It's Danny. You wanted to see me?"
Chris put the Morphomatic in his lap. "Yes, come on in, Danny."
The young man entered, looking very nervous. He had pale blonde hair that was a bit shaggy, a soul patch on his chin, and large, pale blue eyes. A bit heavy and well under 6 feet, he would probably be mistaken for a high school student except for dark circles under his eyes and the start of lines in his face. He obviously did not take very good care of himself.
Chris gestured to the 56-inch flat screen monitor hanging on the wall opposite his desk. "I have decided to buy a new montior for my office, and I want to send that one to one of our subcontractors. Take a look at it and see what you think it will take to pack and ship."
