Richard goes to his bedroom where he keeps his pet iguana Dillon. Richard got him as a pet because he always loved the look of the spines that go down an iguana's back. He carefully takes Dillon out of his cage and puts him on the floor. Richard puts in all the settings he wanted into the Morphomax, aims it at Dillon and fires.
Richard watches closely for any changes that was happening to his pet lizard. The first change was subtle as Richard notices that Dillon is making expressions that a human would make if he was scared. Richard can definitely see intelligence in the iguana's eyes. Speaking of which, Dillon's eyes move from the sides of his head to a position where someone make eye contact to him.
Now the real fun begins. Richard hears a cracking noise and realizes that his pet's body structure is changing. Dillon forces himself up on two legs and his spinal system and hips change to support a bipedal position. His forelegs become more like arms and his hind legs get longer. He develops shoulders and his neck changes so that his head wasn't looking up all the time. Finally, it stops.
Dillon is now an anthro iguana. He had grown a little bit, but he is still reasonably sized for his species. All in all, Richard is satisfied with the results. But what does Dillon think?
