"You know what mom" you say. "I think I'll sue them, even if that means that I won't be able to be a boy again."
"Great!" she says. "Tommorow morning, we'll get all the legal stuff worked out." she hangs up. You fall down on the bed, smiling. You can't believe what just happened. You're now in love with a boy...is that gay? No, you remind yourself, you're a girl not a boy. You fall asleep thinking about Josh.
You wake up with the sun shining through your window. Your mom in in your room, you guess you forgot to lock the door last night.
"Hi mom" you say, smiling.
"Hi..." she said, suspicios.
"How goes the court stuff?" you ask.
"We're going down to the courthouse right now." she said. "It's ten o' clock"
"Oh wow" you say, trying to sound worried.
"What happened?" she asked.
"What do you mean?" you try to sound inocent.
"Don't tell me" she said, "You're in love"
"Is it that obvious?" you ask.
"Yes" she says. "Your female hormones are working overtime, aren't they" you rolled your eyes. You hated it when your mom started talking about hormones.
"Ok, let's go" you say.
"Aren't you going to take a shower?" she asked. You roll your eyes again, and take a shower. You throw on a shirt and some jeans. Then ya'll go to the courthouse. Your mom helps you, and you get all the details worked out. Then you change your firstname to "Sarah" legaly, and then get a new credit card and driver's licence. Your mom teaches you how to aply make up easier, and what kind of makeup to use at what time. You keep thinking this is really weird, but since you're going to be a girl for the rest of your life, you might as well start acting like one. You learn how to put your hair in a ponytail, and other different styles. Your mom goes all out, and buys a bunch of skirts and dresses and all these different girly clothes. Your embaresed to be wearing it, but your mom convinces you to wear a dress all day. A few days later, you go to court, and your mom tells you to cry so that it will be more convincing. You are about to win the case, when the man who transformed you into a girl apeals to the state. You all go home, and await the next court hearing.
