Transform or Dare?

Wolf or Dare: False Starts

added by Alex_Warlorn 13 years ago A TG

"You spoiled the surprise!" Abbey said with her hands on her hips, "That's not fair or
proper at all!"

"It does seem rather anti-climatic..." Margot was forced to admit.

Terri sighed, "And makes the entire thing a total and complete waste of our time."

Zack added, "And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't feeling kinda excited at the whole 'storm the
castle' air we were building up."

Anne added though more reserved, "It is kinda jarring that the situation's whole attitude
would switch so quickly."

Jasmine finally said, "This reminds me of the scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail
were they arrested King Arthur and his army on a case of mistaken identity and ended the
movie without any real climax to everything that had been building up and lost a lot of
potential for character development, I know it was a comedy but still."

Kaylee was struck by the oddest feeling that while she knew she had stopped a potential
loose cannon disaster, she also felt like she had stopped something she wasn't supposed
to. That was silly of course, she was Alpha Female, this sort of thing was her job... so why
wouldn't this nagging feeling she had derailed something important go away?

Megan on the other hand stayed strangely quite, accepting her Alpha Female's kindness, a
kindness that surprised no one more than Kaylee herself.

"Everyone moment she's not with us, is a moment she's at their mercy, whose to say what
they'll do to her?"

+++++++

"That might not be a problem." Trevor said.

The officers all looked at the talking cat.

"Victim?" Fox asked.

"Victim." Trevor replied, "I work with Madam Serenity and let's leave it at that. I've been
there... except for the statues at the front door and back door, all the statues face
INWARD, which means their view of stuff approaching the manner is gonna be sub par."

Penny nodded, "That should make our problems easier. Heck! We could sneak up behind
one, ask the beastie the question, and bang, have them back in their right mind and their
RIGHT BODY before it gets the wolves' attention."

Felicity put a paw on her muzzle, "We'll have to have one lioness come from behind each
statue at the same time so they don't have a chance to alert the others. Then we'll have to
act faster since we'll have the front and back gargoyles then to deal with who are sure to
notice that their fellows are gone. And THAT is not counting any wolves who happen to be
outside at the time. Once we get started, we'll already be at the point of no return."

Gill growled almost, "What did I say about this discussion?"

"She has a good point chief," Gary said, "Don't chastise her for that, we need all the brain
storming we can get."

Gill groaned. And he pointed at a pale almost white beige lioness, "And you forgot to say
anything officer!"

"OH! SORRY SIR! We just got side tracked and everything, ahem." She stood at perfect
attention, "Penny Glen, Detective Second Class, cure the curse from Glendale and look out
for my pride mates."

Serenity face palmed, 'And so it begins...'

Gill stayed silent for a moment then said, "Right... I doubt we have any body armor that
can fit any of you."

"What time is it anyway?" Bernie asked. "Feels like this has been going on forever."

Fox took out her cell phone (now stored on her police belt) and said, "Looks to be around
four PM, time sure flies..."

Gary said, "Sir I think we need a breather, we can make make our 'assault' on the Smith
estate after we're all psychologically prepared."

Gill sighed, "Right. But if I say jump you still all ask how high."

"Yes chief." -All- the lions in the room said, Gill didn't bother correcting the Hardys this
time.

As Penny printed out some blue prints of the Smith Estate (as good as they'd be given the
interior decoration Ashley had mentioned), the remain lions used the room as their
personal lounge spot almost.

Brian sat next to Felicity, who stayed close to him. Mary was hesitant to mention to her
parents how they had forgotten to have someone take her to school.

"Hey," Said the blackish gold Wanda sitting next to Brian calmly.

"My sister, and we all just want to say that," Added, the yellowish beige Nillie.

"Well," The dark gold Lexi continued.

"We're sorry for how Gill treated you." The Beidge/brown lioness Megan nodded.

"You may not be an officer," The white with gold highlights MJ instilled.

"But you ARE a male in our pride, and he didn't need to treat you like that." Said the dirty
orange/dirty red mixed Fox.

"... thank you." BRian replied politely.

"We'll we're a pride now aren't we?" Lexi said, "We're sorry you and Felicity aren't police
like us, but that doesn't mean you can't contribute to our mission."

"We appreciate that." Felicity said calmly to the females now surrounding her and Brian. It
was actually rather disturbing how similar they all looked, and talked with Brian like they
had known him for years.

"We thought you would." Lexi nodded.

"By the way, I just wanna say your cub is so cute!" Nillie said, "She'll be a beautiful lioness
when she grows up!"

"Thank you." Felicity said politely.

Lexi smirked at her sister, remember how Nelson had been quite the manly man allergic
to anything even remotely cute, pretty, or girlie.

"So..." Fox said showing some genuine enthusiastic interest laying on her stomach with her
arms crossed underneath her as she looked up at him, "Tell us how you took on those
wolves Brian! I mean, so we can know what we're up against first hand of course."

Brian nodded.

"I just all hope this wasn't a mistake and all." Said the golden beige Bobbi leaning up
against Gary's back.

"I did all say to do it before we all realized how crazy we were for doin' dis." The reddish
brown Gary replied.

"Well our bridges are burned behind us," The light brown Bernie added leaning with her
back against Gary's left. "Now we just need to clean up the mess the game created with he
Smiths and hope we don't all make a mess ourselves."

The mix of colors (brown, gold, beige white) Sasha leaning on Gary's right, "Well our Dare
and Transform should take care of that, since it means we can't all go all cultish
ourselves."

The dark dark brown almost black Elise said laying in front of Gary, "Let's hope so,"

"Hey girls." Said Penny handing out the stack of papers, "I'm gonna make a quick run to
the Gallery, be right back."

"What are you planning?" Gary asked.

"Just... something I need to do." 'And to see if this 'power of love shick' works... I'm coming
Katie.'

"Right," Gary nodded, "But just be damn sure you're back before we start handing out
instruction for the party at the Smiths!"

"Right." Penny nodded at the male and left the police station, not bothering with the police
vans that were perfectly their size and just ran to the art gallery.
