"So" said Greta, after Lutfiyah finished reading off the most recent chapter, "It looks like we have another visitor coming."
"She doesn't sound as bad as Astara, like she feels bad about some of the things that are happening. Maybe we can convince her to change sides." said the ever-hopeful Jean.
"Notice how it doesn't say when and where she's coming in. This thing seems to be reliable so far" said Carmen "But it's not the answer to all our problems."
"It skips over a lot." said Lutfiyah. "Like it skipped over about five years from the first time sweetheart and I" she blushed prettily "the first time sweetheart and I made love."
"Maybe we can use the ring." Greta used the goddess powers the ring itself had given her to wish the ring onto her finger. She wished to know where and when Dana would be entering her plane.
"Nothing." Greta sighed. She turned to Carmen. "Looks like you were right about the ring not working on creatures from other planes."
"I'll go check our magical defenses." said Carmen, not entirely unpleased to find that there was something she could do (she hoped!) better than the ring. "If Dana is as crude as Ninjatta in coming here, we won't have any problem. But she might try coming through the world of chaos, and that's a little harder to sense."
"That poor woman." said Lutfiyah, thinking of the new host for Ninjatta.
