Every student looked up at the clock the moment the bell rang. Then, everyone took their books and notebooks, and stuffed them in their backpacks, so that they could make their way out of the classroom and head to the cafeteria for lunch.
Ty quickly packed his belongings into his backpack and stood up, but he decided to hold off leaving the classroom. He turned around and spotted Jayce, who was just a few seats away from him. Jayce had placed everything in his backpack already and he had turned around so he could grab a pen from his desk, when Ty wished for his books and notebook to appear on his desk. Ty did this deliberately, just to slow him down, so that they would leave the classroom at the same time.
“Huh? I thought I had packed my books already!” Jayce mumbled to himself, when he turned around and spotted his books, neatly stacked on his desk. “That’s strange!”
Jayce unzipped the top of his backpack and quickly placed everything inside, before closing his back and tossing it over his right shoulder. Right away, he realized that he needed to adjust the straps on his backpack, because his shoulders seemed wider than before.
“Hey, Jayce! How’s going? Everything alright?” Ty said to him, as both boys walked out of classroom, while Jayce was adjusting the straps on his backpack as he was walking.
“Oh… Umm… Hi there, Ty! What’s up?” Jayce replied shyly.
“Nothing much. Is something wrong with your bag?”
“Uhh… I tried putting it over my shoulder and it was too tight…” Jayce explained. “I guess I needed to adjust my straps.”
“I’ll say! Your shoulders look like they’ve gotten a bit wider! Have you been working out?” Ty asked him next.
“Me? I… Well, no… I mean… You mean, in the gym?”
“Yeah! You know… Lifting weights?” Ty chuckled, as he raised both arms together as if he was holding up an invisible barbell.
“No… I don’t lift weights, Ty… I play baseball and a little basketball…”
Jayce kept on walking a little ahead of Ty, as Ty slowed down a bit. Ty then squatted down, just as Jayce turned around.
“Don’t wait on me! I just gotta tie my shoelace!” Ty explained.
“Oh… Uhh… Okay… See yah in the cafeteria, Ty!” Jayce replied, as he turned around and started walking down the hallway.
Ty looked up and stared at Jayce, with a wide grin on his face. He really liked Jayce a lot. Jayce was a nice guy who deserved to be muscular. So, Ty took a deep breath, and made a small “O” with his lips, before he exhaled, as he continued to follow Jayce with his eyes.
“Ffffffffffffffttttt…..”
Immediately, Jayce was overcome by that odd, tingling sensation again! He felt it in every muscle in his body! His calves inflated even more! His biceps hardened and grew even more, until they were 14 inches! His pecs pushed out until his shirt felt very tight. His abs filled out his torso while his quads grew thicker and wider as amazing new layers of rock-solid muscle formed on them.
“Ooohhhhwhooaaaa!!!!” Jayce shouted, as he felt the most incredible muscle growth spurt!
Ty got up and walked over to him.
“What’s the matter?”
“I… I… I have no idea! My muscles! My muscles just did something…”
Ty stood in front of him and smiled as he surveyed his handiwork.
“Gosh, Jayce, you look great! You sure you don’t work out in the gym?”
“I… I… Uhh… I swear….” Jayce stuttered.
“Come on; let’s go eat before our next class starts!” Ty suggested.
Jayce just followed Ty into the cafeteria, where the two boys stood in line and got plastic trays with plates and silverware. From there, they got their hamburgers and veggies, and some juice. They sat down and talked, until their next class. Jayce was still very confused about his mysterious muscle growth, but Ty was already wondering when he was going to grow him next…
