Jess and Joe wandered the island, trotter in trotter. They generally just enjoyed their new liberated lifestyle; eating fruit, stretching on the beach under the glorious sun, cooling off in muddy waters. It looked as though Jess might be pregnant, too.
However, they had not realised one thing about the island. Although sparsely inhabited, a group of indigenous tribespeople had lived there for years, deep in the forest. Alerted by the sound of the ship, they had been watched the pair of pigs from afar since their arrival. The thought of fresh pork enticed them, a rare change from their usual diet of fish and birds. As Jess cooled off one morning, they decided to strike.
"I can't wait to have kids", she to her boyfriend, who was poking his snout into a bush looking for berries. "Are you excited to be a dad?"
"It's not the way I thought I would be a dad," he replied. "I wonder if they'll be piglets or human? Or a bit of both like us..."
The bushes on the edge of the forest moved. Jess paused.
"Did you hear that?" She stood and moved cautiously towards the source of the noise. Joe looked up.
"Hey, stay away from the forest, could be wild animals or something in there," he warned.
"Okay, I thought I heard-" And with that, Jess was yanked into the forest. The sound of footsteps indicated she was being taken deep into the forest.
"Jess?!"
