He read the note. A bright pink flash lit up the room and suddenly Kyle found that he is shrinking. To preoccupied by what his body is doing and that his clothes were ballooning up and around him, he missed entirely that he was shifting sex and gender and that fur was sprouting all over his body.
Next to him, two of the girl also started to shrink, but only grow fur instead of switching sex and gender. "What's happening to me," Kyle squeaked out, and then covered his mouth the moment he realized how his voice sounded and then removed his had the moment he realized that it was no longer a human hand.
Running toward the mirror, Kyle begins jumping up and down before the mirror, trying to see his reflection.
Spinning about, Kyle was about to ask what had just happened, but stopped the moment he saw the others. Finding his voice, he blurted out, "What did you do to me," suddenly realizing that his voice was higher not only because of a change in species, but also a change in sex and gender.
Instead of answering, the two girls immediately began to quarrel amongst themselves, hurling insults and wanting to know why Kyle got to Brittany. Realizing what they were arguing about, Kyle began to patting her furry body and then over and over, thought, "No! Not Brittany of the Chipettes. Anything but that," as Jen, Becca and Cassie presented another box, while Samathat wailed that she didn't want to be Eleanor and Crystal retorted back with, "Beats being Jeanette!"
