The girls enjoyed their first day of employment relaxing in the sun, Kassie and Beckie spending their earnings on new clothes. Susie and Alice sat by the pool, showing off the bodies that were earning this luxury lifestyle in bikinis.
"Do you think this is right, what we're doing? I feel bad about it," Alice wondered. "For us, yeah, it was a lot of fun, and we're going to earn a lot of money, but think of all of those poor guys. They came to look at cute girls and now they're stinking donkeys."
"I guess. Who cares about those guys though? They were acting like animals, that's what they deserve, right?" Susie replied, taking a sip of a Pina Colada and flipping out her sunglasses.
"What if they had families though? Parents, siblings, girlfriends... I don't know if I can do this again, Susie." Alice sat upright and looked Susie in the face. "Maybe we should get out of here."
"Don't you remember what that ponygirl said? We don't have a choice. If we try and get out of here, what's to say we won't up as animals too?"
"Don't you remember what else she said? She said we might end up getting made-up like her. I know at first we thought it was just a cool costume but I think after last night she wasn't wearing a costume at all. I don't want a big horse's butt!"
"Calm down Alice. Just wait until tonight. We can see how it goes and then we'll talk, okay?"
Alice sat back, silently agreeing to Susie's proposal, but still racked with the moral dilemma.
