The little man made a few motions and a small workstation appeared. He went right to work designing a beautiful pair of black, 3 inch high heeled shoes in a size 22. He handed her one of the shoes. "Well lass, what do you think?"
She almost dropped the shoe as it was as heavy as a sack of potatoes. Suzy had to admit, the shoe was amazingly well done, rivaling any designer shoe she had ever seen!
"These are gorgeous! You do amazing work!" Her expression changed quickly though to one of sadness. "But, If I can't lift my feet now, I really won't be able to after getting these shoes on. They have to weigh as least 10 pounds a piece! Plus the heel? I don't think..."
"Ah lady give them a shot before you look at the negatives!!!"
She smiled, for the first time in a long time, and nodded. Slowly she set the heels down next to her feet and lifted one leg at a time into shoes. They felt wonderful on her feet and she smiled again.
"Now stand up lass and walk around," the little man said with a smile.
She stood up and looked down and her feet were much smaller. They were not her normal size 8's but anything was better than the mammoth size 22's they were. They looked to be about a size 10 or 11. The shoes had shrunk to fit perfectly!
"Oh my God thank you so much!" She ran over to give the man a hug.
"Now lass, this is not permanent. There are quite a few things I need to tell you about these shoes. First, I want you to take them off"
Suzanne sat back down and took off her left shoe. Immediately both the shoe and her foot enlarged to the whopping size 22 they were a moment ago. When she took off the other shoe, the same thing happened. She did notice though that she could lift her legs without using her arms. She lifted her leg straight into the air and gasped. Her legs had increased in size as well. They were still feminine, but rippled with power. "Holy crap! My legs! What happened?"
"Well, I figured I could at least help you walk around when your shoes are off. Now dear, here is how these shoes work. When you put them on, they will shrink you feet down to a manageable size 10.5. This is the only pair of shoes I can make for you so do keep them in good shape. I guarantee you that they will not wear down but other than that, they will scuff like normal shoes."
"OK so keep them clean and I will be fine. I just have to wear these whenever I am in public and I'll be good, right?"
"Alas, not quite. The shoes can only work for 10 hours each day. If you wear them longer, your feet will not only increase to the size they are now, but will gain another size. The shoes will extend out when you put them on again but I'm sure you don't want those feet any bigger!"
"Well that's not so bad," Suzy said.
"There is a little more to these shoes. This one is not as easy. Once they are on, you cannot take them and then put them back on in the same day. Plan your day out! Once they are on, keep them on for as much of the 10 hours as possible. If you do not heed this warning, there will be some...side effects."
"What do you mean, side effects?"
"All I can tell ye, is that some part of your body will be affected for a 36 hour period. This magic is unpredictable. I can say this though, remember these shoes are encasing magical enlargement. One can only guess that the side effect would involve enlargement of something else.
"OK so no more than 10 hours, and once they are on, I cannot take them off and put them back on."
"You got it lass," the little man said. "Now I must be off, here is my card. If you have any questions, call me.
With that, the man skipped off leaving Suzy by the pool.
