The farmhand took Kat and placed a halter round her head in order to lead her off.
"Get your hands off of me!" Kat complained. To the farmhand, this just sounded like typical equine noise. "Dan, do something?"
"Like what? This is your fault. You got us into this mess. You have to deal with the consequences."
Kat was incredulous at the situation, however there was little she could do as she was lead towards the barn where Dan had recently emerged. There was no way of getting out the field, with it's electrified fence. She could make a run for it and make the farmhand chase after her to try and buy some time. But where would that get her?
She kept her head low as she was lead into the barn, resigned to her fate as a horse (and the natural obligations it brought). She thought it best to just get inside the barn, away from the farmhand, then consider her options then.
Kat stood inside the dingy barn, waiting for the moment. A stall opened and the farmhand led out the stud. "Enjoy it girl!" He said, slapping Kat on the flank and leaving her to her mate.
"What am I going to do?" She frets, as the horse approaches.
